Nov. 11th, 2019 04:24 pmI've read all the stories that have been posted for no tags, and have enjoyed them all. I won't post recs yet as quite a few still haven't been posted but will do so when they're all there. Saying that, at the moment it could easily be summed up by saying, read them all.
Included in those posted is the one for my prompt, which is just lovely and a lot of fun. Though I was surprised to see the main pairing wasn't one I'd actually asked for. Not that it mattered as I really enjoyed the story and use of the actual prompt. Obviously, with it being a double-blind challenge I don't know who wrote it, but in case nonnie reads back later, thank you! Your story was great and please don't worry about the wrong pairing thing.
Yesterday I also read a Leverage story I really enjoyed. I'm not sure if I got it from a rec on my flist, maybe Dine? But, however I came across it the story was great. It's OT3, always my favourite in the fandom, and is nicely long, paced well and has a ridiculously hot sex scene. Like A Map of a Place You've Never Been
I watched Strictly last night and was happy with the result. As a bonus the leaving dance made me laugh a lot. Blackpool next week, which is always fun, if only for the fact they tend to throw everything at the dances, including props and backup dancers.
Today I've been out, got some groceries and am now bundled up in my dressing gown as it's a bit nippy out there. But I have hot tea, and the heating has just clicked on, so it'll soon warm up.

Date: 2019-11-11 06:56 pm (UTC)I've often wondered if it will be something I'll love watching OR if it'll crash and burn for me the way that, say, SGA did back when I tried to watch the pilot ep?

Date: 2019-11-11 11:02 pm (UTC)Yay for being wrapped up warm. I'm in an old MCR hoodie with a throw blanket over my lap right now and maybe I will make some tea too! *high five*

Date: 2019-11-11 11:35 pm (UTC)The leaving dance had me laughing so much - the whole thing with her obviously wanting to get down right through to the conga, magic :).
I'm interested to see how the better dancers do with the bigger floor - a really gallopy quickstep would do me rightly!

Date: 2019-11-12 08:36 am (UTC)Everything about the leaving dance had me laughing and to end up with the conga including Tess and Claudio was brilliant. They were obviously having a load of fun.
I love watching them dance on that springy floor. I know he won't win but my favourite to watch is Chris, if they give him something high energy I can see him bouncing like Tigger :D

Date: 2019-11-12 08:58 am (UTC)While I didn't dislike the character as much as some, Nate and his manpain used to annoy me at times. I mean, he had cause but sometimes I felt like rolling my eyes while thinking, again?
But, I really do like Eliot, Hardison and Parker, and the way they all interact. It's why my love of the OT3 is so solid.

Date: 2019-11-12 10:40 am (UTC)I don't have a noTP in bandom but totally understand having pairings that just make you back away slowly or not want to read.
What I like is, despite the pairings, hardly any are pwp. I mean, I'm not opposed to a good pwp, but I especially love world-building and scenes from real life.

Bundling up and drinking hot tea is an excellent way to combat a chilly evening!

Date: 2019-11-16 05:44 pm (UTC)I do love a good hot tea. Also a blanket, it's the perfect combination when it's cold.
