turpsIt was an excellent mail day today. For many years now turlough has been indulging my love of sparkle deers and today the latest arrived. It's lovely and so detailed and I love it lots. Thank you, Turlough!
I also got something else that's fab, but it's for a gift so no sharing. Just know it was a good mail day.

no_tags guessing post has been up for a few days now. Sadly last time I looked I was the only person to have guessed, so I encourage anyone that's read the stories to go have a go. You'll probably do better than me. So far my story has been guessed by two people but off the board. Apparently I'm transparent to some people.
Kayleigh is being ridiculously adorable lately. She's had a hard couple of years, but meeting her new girlfriend has been such a positive thing for her. I think I mentioned Lucy is a Christmas lover, so much so Kayleigh actually went out and bought a Christmas tree and a load of decorations, plus two stockings and put up the tree as a surprise yesterday. Yes, it's too early, even for me, but her happiness is lovely to see. She also surprised Lucy with tickets for the Polar express where they get to go on the train in their PJs, get hot chocolate and a bell and see the route lit up with lights. This is amazing as last year all she had was one tiny poinsettia I'd given her, and even then put it up reluctantly, so this is her first-ever Christmas tree in her own house, despite having lived alone for a very long time.

Date: 2019-11-24 11:59 am (UTC)You're not wrong. But this one has been around for a few months now and seems like a sticker. Kayleigh was even talking marriage and kids recently which took me by surprise.
But her exes do make me laugh. She met the majority in Newcastle within a small group of people who hang out, so there are often photos on social media of her exes going out together.

Kayleigh and Lucy have done Christmas to the max in the last week. They both took a week off together and have done Christmas markets, Christmas shopping, and the Polar Express. I remain amazed that she's got so into it.
