The Masked Singer started here last night. [livejournal.com profile] solariana you didn't state enough how frustrating it is trying to guess who is behind the masks. Loved all the costumes, apart from poor Duck who got the short straw. I was also amused that JC from Nsync was guessed as the unicorn. Fingers crossed it is him, that would be good.

James went back to work today. They've changed the system for phased returns, before the doctor would recommend set hours while now it's a percentage of total hours. So, for this week James is at 20% of his normal hours, which worked out he got Friday and Saturday off when he should have been in. Has gone in for three hours today, then has another three days off in line with his team, then back for three four hours shifts. His team leader has made the schedule and has structured it so James will be with his own team all the time, which is good. I just hope it goes okay, he's so much better now, but of course, it was the job that brought things to a head when he went off, so this is going to be the big test.

Challenge three at Snowflake is to promote your favourite communities, fests or challenges. I'll have to have a think about it, because again, I doubt I'll have any response different to last year.

Good luck to James. Hopefully the phased return does help ease him back into the job.

For some reason I thought the masked singer wasn’t on until next week. I might have to see what it’s like.

That’s good, I hope it all goes ok for him

I do feel that in a properly-run universe, JC *should* be appearing as a unicorn.

Best of luck to James. I hope it goes well.

In fairness, John Barrowman would also make a splendid unicorn. I doubt I'll be watching this show, but I shall be interested in further developments!

Hope things go well for James

I'm mostly looking forward to joining some active communities that people are recommending, I've not spent enough time on DW recently to really know of any, the ones I use are mostly inactive so... fingers crossed

Fingers crossed for the gradual ramp-up of work to go smoothly for James! Working with his regular team definitely sounds like a plus.

After reading a post that revealed the last three contestants (as well as the winner), I kinda lost half of my enthusiasm for the show. IIRC, a new season is starting v. soon (I wanna say Feb. 2 or 3) so I'm gonna have to put in the effort and watch it within the same week or else go thru the same bs than this season.

Have I mentioned how much I *detest* spoilers? XD

I hope that things went well and continued to roll at James' work. It seems like they've stepped up in providing him with what he needs (gauging on what you've posted here).
