I'm going to call this one done as I tend to comment/talk to people I don't know during Snowflake time. In fact, that's how I found some excellent friends in the past. As always, I'm always happy to chat here too if you've wanted to say hello. Or you know, again as always, for people to lurk. Either is more than fine with me.

I finally got to read the waycest Sentinel fic and it was pretty great. It hit the Sentinel trope beautifully and I do recommend, with the reminder that it is waycest and therefore sibling incest until the end, until this blood

Checking my flist this morning I saw Party Of Five had been rebooted. Despite having many shows to watch, I clicked to download in an instant because I loved Party of Five back in the day. Especially Charlie with his early seasons beautiful floppy hair. I haven't seen the episodes yet but I've been reading up and it seems changes have been made, but reaction so far seems to have been positive. So, I hope I'll enjoy when I watch.

It's my Sil's birthday today, so once James finishes work we're off to see her and my nieces and nephew. They've had some good news lately, so it'll be nice to see them.

In comparison, Kayleigh has been having a hard time lately as she came home from work the other day and found a man on her roof trying to steal the lead with another one standing guard in the garden. She was obviously freaked out, especially as it was late, pitch-black due to having no street lights in the road behind her house and of course, the shock factor. They ran away, but even so, she's had a couple of sleepless nights since.

Geez, that's scary :( Thank goodness they ran off when Kayleigh got there.

I actually watched a couple of episodes of the original Party of Five last year, thinking I could get rid of my DVD, but it's actually held up really well! And Matthew Fox was so pretty in it (although not as pretty as Nev)

It's really good and I think would still hold up if you don't know the trope.

I plan on watching the eps today. Need to get some things done first then I'll be settling in and hoping it's good too.

She hasn't been able to sleep well since :(

Kayleigh hasn't been able to sleep well since, and I'm not surprised. What's worse if they were so blatant about it. It was about 10:30 at night so if she'd been on a day shift she would have been in the house while they were on the roof and in the garden.

That's good the original still holds up. So many shows don't when you rewatch.

Oh, let me know what you think of it, I noticed it and wondered, but my TV dance card is quite full already.

I saw that about Party of Five too, but I was thinking, do we really need that reboot? And I guess from your reaction, we really do. Ahaha.

I used to really enjoy Party of Five, so I'm eager to see this reboot. Of course, it could still be terrible yet, and I'll be raising my fists to the sky and yelling, why must they spoil things?!

Kayleigh's got her girlfriend staying for a bit, so hopefully, she'll get some sleep.

It must have been such a shock, especially so as the road is so dark due to the lack of lights.

I will do. TBH, I really shouldn't be adding anything new either, but I couldn't resist.

I have that waycest fic tabbed. I'm not the biggest fan of the Sentinel trope but I'm going give it a try anyway.

Oh no, that must have been so scary for her! I hope there won't be any more incidents like it so that she can start sleeping better again soon.

It was a good read and has some loved Gerard and Mikey moments.

It seems to be a thing in town lately, some lowlives going around and stealing lead from houses. Hopefully, they'll get caught soon.

I was such a scary thing to happen. If I'd have walked in on someone in my garden/on my roof like that, I think I would have screamed, too.

Huh, I had heard abt the Party of Five reboot, but it kinda went in one ear and out the other because I promptly forgot all about it until just now. IIRC, I watched the first 2 seasons of the OG show mainly as a way to kill time before another show would come on (I want to say Marvin's Head? Who the hell knows!)

OMG, Kayleigh must have gotten the fright of her life! That sounds horrible. I hope she's doing better. :(

The Waycest Sentinel fic was good, it was nice to find a long bandom Sentinel AU. They're not as common these days.

I'm still watching the Party of Five reboot and am enjoying it more as the weeks go by. I still like the changes they've made and the fact while they tackle issues they're still a bit frothy and not too focussed on terrible things.

Kayleigh is so much better now, thank goodness.
