Earlier I was heating soup up in mug in the microwave, and because I'm an idiot, forgot I was using one of the mugs where the handle gets really hot. Reached in to take it out and now have a nice bubbly blister on one side of one finger and the tip of my mouse finger has a burnt bit. So many sighs. The blister is especially annoying as it's exactly where a mug handle or fork rests, or pen, or anything where you hold something needing a bit pressure.

Apart from that, the day has been nothing special. Just having a quick nip out to Company as we'd ran out of milk and then catching up on some downloaded tv as the weather was terrible. Of course with all the rain the porch roof is leaking again, but at this point, depending on which way these storm gusts go I have to worry about the fence blowing down or the roof leaking, and if I have to pick one it'll be the roof.

So, I stayed in and have nearly caught up on Prodigal Son, I've only one ep to go and suspect it's going to be a good one. Also, watched the latest Project Runway, I think I'm the only one still watching on my flist but I'm still liking the addition of Christian. I thought I'd miss Tim, and I do, but Christian is a good replacement and seems to have fully settled into his mentor role.

While I didn't do so today I've also started watching The Mandalorian, I'm only one ep in so far but that should change tomorrow.

Also today, I've started to read through The Leverage Secret Santa exchange. Because that's just what I need, another exchange worth of stories to add to my to-read list. But I couldn't resist, the lure of the OT3 was too strong.

Well the blister popped overnight so it feels better now.

I'm sick of the wind at this point. Thankfully it's not as bad this morning, plus, no rain which is great.

Ouch, ouch, ouch!! Burn blisters are the worst! They hurt so much and you always get them at the most inconvenient spot! Hopefully this one will at least heal swiftly *sends lots of healthy thoughts*

I think I would probably worry more about the leaking roof. Water leaks can lead to all sorts of complications in the long run whilst a blown down fence is a great inconveniance when it happens but it's relatively easy to fix. I totally support your decision to stay indoors in such icky weather however. (We also had really windy and rainy weather on Tuesday!)

Thankfully it is healing well, the bubbly bit is gone now and it's just a case of the skin reforming. You're right though, you do get them in inconvenient spots. I had to modidy my mouse clicking movements *g*

Hmmm, that's true. I suspect the roof will be the easier fix too as I'm sure it's just the join between the porch roof and the wall that needs redoing and covering. Whereas the fence needs a new post digging in and connecting.

I've heard abt Prodigal Son here and there. IIRC, I think it's part of my Hulu package but, you know, so many shows, so little time. Maybe I'll catch up with it once it goes into summer hiatus?

Oh, I'm also watching Project Runway. Kinda got back into it after hearing that it was moving back to Bravo. NGL, as someone who was an OG fan, my heart broke every season it was on Lifetime. Even Tim Gunn's behavior turned v. soulless at some point.

So, yes, Christian as a mentor is EXCELLENT. I also think that the panel is a bit better (though it won't ever reach the amazingness of early season Heidi, Nina, and Michael Kors). I have no fave and DESTEST Sergio (he's so gorram pretentious). My one wish is two-fold: that Victoria STOPS DOING THE SAME FUCKING DRESS WITH THE SAME IDIOTIC CUTOUTS and that the panel stops drooling over her designs. IJS. #MyProRunFeelsLetMeShowThemToYou

I know this reply is so late we've discussed this already, but I love Christian. He knows his stuff but is so great with all the contestants which not taking any bull from them. He's such a great choice for the mentor.

That's happened to me too. Like, everything (premise, my fannishness, ppl/characters I find attractive) is RIGHT THERE. And yet I don't tip over to full blown squee. Sometimes, though, it's not on me but on the fact that there's no fandom to speak of. As in too few fanworks and no one knows abt the media, etc. Go figure.

BTW, I did read up on this season's winner and was happy with the decision. Tho now I'm not sure if I'm gonna watch the next season of PR. I dunno.
