We're waiting for Murphy to go back to the cat lady for a little while.

It looks like he's got an infection in his eye which has been getting worse and we're in a weird period where he's still under the month's insurance from the shelter and our insurance hasn't kicked in yet. Plus, there's a chance he could pass it on to our cats so after a series of messages he's off to be treated by the cat lady in her home where he can be isolated and well looked after.

It's the right thing to do, for him and our cats but man, I'm dreading seeing her coming with the carrier because he's already part of our family.

I'm sorry Murphy has to go away until he's healed, but better not to share with your other cats; and if he's covered under their insurance, best you not get saddled with a bill

It's unfortunate this happened when it did, especially with us going into lockdown yesterday. It means getting to a vets is complicated anyway, so best not to take risks. And, at least I know he is coming home.

He's such a teenager. Loves running around like crazy and then sleeping *g*

Oh, poor kitty! I'm sorry you have to be separated again. There's a lot of that going around, isn't there. :( I hope he will heal up fast and be able to come home for good!

The cat lady said he's fine in himself and thinks a few days on antibiotics will have him at 100%. It just sucked because he was watching me as he was carried away and I keep thinking he'll think he's been abandoned again :(
