After his extreme staycation of last week, James went back to work today and the day has come, he'll be coming home with the dreaded white work shirts. Five of them. FIVE! Also two pairs of ambulance bottle green trousers to go with the delightful bottle green hoodie that's already here. It's not even a nice hoodie, it's weird material that catches at your skin and the colour... It's great they kit out all their staff, but why those choices? Why!?

I really do hope they're the kind that you can hang to dry and get no creases, but I bet they're not. And also suspect they'll have stupid pointy collars and those stupid flaps on the shoulders >:(

In other news. Everything is going well in kitty land. Milo is so much better and the other day actually sat on the bottom of the recliner while Murphy sat behind me on the back. Murphy still likes to have a hiss at him, but mostly Milo just ignores him. Thing is, Milo is about four times his size and if he batted him back Murphy would probably back down. As it is, he thinks he's the size of a lion and owns the house. However, we have found out he's afraid of one thing, this weird clockwork toy we got for him. It's like this strange slug thing with legs and rocks side to side as it scuttles around. To be honest, if I was Murphy I'd be a bit afraid of it too. Though it's the only thing he is afraid of. When I go in the bath he's discovered the joy of jumping in the clothes basket, so I look out and see the thing be rolled along the landing. He's also been in the fridge twice, looks in every cupboard I open, stands on the windowsill crying if I go outside, eats everything in sight and is just this incredible livewire. Now if only Pansy would come out of hiding more than a handful of times a day things would be great. I posted pictures of Milo and Murphy at Insta here.

After catching up on Chicago Med we're not ploughing our way through Chicago Fire. I like how all the shows crossover with each other in casual ways, but man, you take your life in your hands going to Chicago, and that's without binge-watching Chicago PD which is next up. We've also started to watch Tiger King after hearing about it so often. That is one crazy show.

While I haven't had a letter yet, they've started cancelling the B12 injections saying they're not essential. Kayleigh's had hers cancelled already so mine will be soon. I get why but it's frustrating, especially so as I get a years supply of the B12 capsules but need to go to the nurse to have them injected. So I have the stuff, but it's very likely won't have anyone to do the actual injecting. I can always tell when it's coming to the end of the three month period as my energy drops, but hopefully it won't get too bad when I don't get that top up.

I suspect they want all ambulance staff to look the same. But I'll never get the bottle green. At least it's not a jumpsuit like some paramedics wear.

The toy is weird and looks very unnerving when it's moving.

I have side beef with one of the Chicago shows (I wanna say Chicago: Justice?) for ~reasons, the showrunner for it also was the showrunner or one of the executive producers for L&O: SVU two seasons ago. He kinda messed a lot of thing and gave my fave character the WORST possible exit episode. AND THEN, he brought in some dude from Chicago: Justice to replace my beloved character. He SUUUUUUCKED and only lasted til the end of the season. #WhatMe?BITTER? #NAAAAH

ION, someone watched Tiger King and, thankfully, gave me all the trigger and content warnings since there's stuff in it that is among my Hardcore NOPES. And, nowdays, that goes double for that kind of content. (I'm trying to be vague since I dunno how far along are you with it.)

Hope your energy doesn't dip that far down. <3

I need to find my iron because I haven't touched it in years. I think I'll have to set up the board in Corey's room and just iron the stupid shirts. No way am I going to do other stuff.

Kitties all the time. I've read a lot of people saying now isn't a good time to get a new pet, and I agree in one way. But, the way it happened for us, getting Murphy before the worst of it happened and then having to stay in has helped me keep an eye on them all.

I get those bitter feelings and nod in solidarity with you. One of the things I remain bitter about was how they treated Zack in Bones. I rage quit the show after that and can't even think about it/his character without getting annoyed all over again.

I've only seen episode one of Tiger King, and it's insane. So much so I'm finding it hard to believe that it's actual reality. I have no idea what's going in in future episodes so I may quit it yet. I guess all I can do is see how the next episode goes and take it from there. Hopefully, no animal cruelty as that's a bit nope.

I hope so. Silver lining, at least I'm not going anywhere that lots of energy is needed.

Oh, lorde, Bones...I watched that episode reveal live and raged quit the F out of the show right then and there. Fast-forward to abt a month ago, I happened to catch the SAME episode (there's a network that airs 3 eps of Bones Monday thru Friday). Although my anger wasn't anywhere near the same as the one I felt back in the day, I still COULDN'T BELIEVE THE SHOW DID THAT TO HIM.

But I'm glad to hear of the cats' continued upward progress. Murphy sounds like a real firecracker. I hope they all eventually get more used to each other.

That's a pity that you'll be so close and yet so far to being able to have the injections. I hope the lack won't hit you too hard.

The shirts look so nice when he wears them, but omg, so impractical! Also, I'll now have to do a dedicated whitewash every week too.

The cats are doing well. Murphy and Milo will even sniff each other on occasions. So, nice steps forward.

I love hearing of Murphy's antics! And it's so good to hear both that Milo is getting better and that he's starting to become used to Murphy. I'll keep my fingers crossed Pansy will also soon start getting used to him.

I hope you'll manage to keep your energy levels up despite the B12 injection.

I totally agree!

Murphy is a loveable idiot. He's into everything and I can't move without him following me. But he gives the best lap hugs and is so incredibly soft. I suspect it'll take Pansy a while to get used to him. Being a former feral it takes her forever to trust anything new. When my in-laws stay when we go on holiday they never see her as she'll stay upstairs hiding and only venture downstairs in the dead of night to eat. Which is a shame as she's such a loving cat, just has huge trust issues.

Amazingly the B12 still hasn't been cancelled for me, even though it has been deemed nonessential at other doctors. But watch, I've said that and it'll be cancelled this week with 6 days to go.
