Thank you to everyone who indulged my gratuitus pet post. If you haven't seen already, some lovely cats and dogs were posted in comments and it made me very happy to look at them all. Thank you for sharing your pets with me.
James' work doctor continues to be fantastic. Before he went back on his phased return she said she'd follow up with him once it was over, and did so, having a telephone consultation a few days ago. She's happy with where he is now but has suggested that he's taken off the 2 am finish shifts, mainly because by the time he gets home and in bed and then wound down enough to sleep it's usually well after 3 am, which isn't good as it messes with his med taking. She's said midnight should be the latest he finishes, which means he'll keep his shift allowance but also not get home excessively late.
Other good news, despite them being cancelled for most people I got my B12 yesterday. It was weird going in as you have to knock on the window from outside and then wait to be taken inside to the waiting room which has been stripped right back, all the decorative screens gone and half the chairs. Then when my name was called the nurse was wearing gloves, mask and apron. Talking to her it seems my practice has only cancelled the injections for those over 70. Considering how many other people have had their B12s cancelled from other practices, I know I'm lucky mine went ahead.
Continuing with the good news. Yesterday my SiLs partner was told he can go back home from next week. He was nearly crying on the phone he was so happy and I'm so pleased for him. Though, it's leaving my MiL in a shaky situation as he's been living at my PiLs house for a long time now and cooking for her and doing her shopping, something my FiL refuses to do.
In the last few days, I've re-potted all the tomato plants so the greenhouse is looking good. As usual, I have far too many seedlings as I can never bring myself to throw them away. So no doubt, yet again, I'll have tomato plants shoved in any spare part of the garden. The courgette seeds have finally started to grow too which is a relief. In the past when I've had poor seedlings I could buy plants elsewhere, but couldn't do so this year. So those six seedlings are getting a lot of care and attention.
I had a spare cat tower in the garage, so have changed the one in the house a bit so it now has two doughnuts. Though, of course, Milo and Murphy both want the highest one.
I was happy to see that Leverage is being rebooted, and the majority of the original cast are coming back. It wouldn't be the same without the OT3.
Today I've hoovered, tidied, done a wash and have it on the line, mopped downstairs, tided upstairs and amazingly have finally posted the winterhawk bodyswap. So now I'm going to go read more of my Christmas book in the garden and soak in some sunshine. Hope you're all having good days too ♥

It's all good :D

Date: 2020-04-26 01:44 pm (UTC)Thank you! As opposed to yesterday today has been lazy. Though I must change the litter trays/sweep up litter soon. I'm sure Murphy flings it out of the doors on purpose.

Date: 2020-04-26 01:42 pm (UTC)The cat hierarchy constantly amuses me. You'd think that top doughnut was the Best. Thing. Ever!

Date: 2020-04-26 07:20 pm (UTC)This post has reminded me that I gotta go get a bag of soil next time I go out. Some of my plants need replanting.
Wow, you've been doing ALL THE THINGS!!! I hope you enjoyed your Christmas book and spending time in the sunshine.
It is dark, rainy, and gray today. I'M IN HEAVEN. XD

Date: 2020-04-27 03:13 pm (UTC)I was so happy to find a place selling compost, so got three big bags that should keep me going. That's what I intend to do soon, go out and repot the seedlings, maybe talk to the courgettes a little *g*
I did enjoy reading my Christmas book in the sunshine.
It's sunny again here today. We haven't had rain for weeks now which is so weird. But, enjoy your rainy days :D

Date: 2020-04-27 03:10 pm (UTC)Thank you. The tomatoes are thriving, and the courgettes being babied. I can't believe I have so few this year.

Date: 2020-04-27 06:43 pm (UTC)That's so good to hear you got your B12 injection after all!
I'll keep my fingers crossed those courgettes will grow and flourish as they should!
*giggles* Of course they both want to be on top!

Date: 2020-04-27 07:23 pm (UTC)I still can't believe I got my injection. They've been cancelled pretty much everywhere else, so much so articles have been written in the gastric bypass forums/websites. So, why my doctors have kept on doing it I don't know, but I'm glad they have.
I still have six courgette seedlings \o/
We had a situation earlier. As Murphy is still on the small side when he curls up in the doughnut you can't see him from below. So Milo jumped to the top doughnut, found Murphy already there and there was a lot of hissing, arched backs and barely balancing going on as they both tried to keep the space *g*

Date: 2020-04-28 03:49 pm (UTC)Apparently, the kids were overjoyed to see him.
But yeah, it's not so good for my MiL. You are allowed to travel to help a vulnerable person, but obviously that's not the same as living in.
