Murphy had to go to the vets today as he's had a wonky eye over the weekend. It turns out he's got conjunctivitis so after a break of a few weeks I'm back on pill crushing duties, plus with the addition of doing eye drops too. Thankfully he's fully insured so while we had to pay the excess, anything above and beyond that is covered. Which is great as I saw Milo's invoice while there and was glad I was sitting down at the time.

He's okay though, just a bit put out at having to go to the vets. I feel






I've been alternating watching the new season of Queer Eye and The Witcher. Both of which are enjoyable but in very different ways.

Oh yay! I've just seen the go fund me set up for Mog on the Tyne has raised enough money and they're coming back \o/ They don't know when and obviously things will be different, no sitting on the floor with the cats allowed I'd imagine, but still, Mog fan power for the win!

Murphy is a silly!

I'm glad that Mog on the Tyne is going to be able to reopen; that's just such a cool opportunity to boost cat adoptions, and to allow people to socialize with friendly kitties!

He's got so much energy. And so many toys, I had to buy him a basket to keep them in today. I told him he needs to put his stuff back after playing but suspect he won't listen.

It's such brilliant news about Mog. Between two Go Fund Mes they made about 14k which was enough to pay bills and keep them propped up after being shut for so long. I can't wait to go back.

Tell me about it! I was hoping that a photo would be enough as it's the actual consultation that adds the most money but the vet needed to see him. Which is fair enough as it was his eye.

I just saw the Mog news on Insta while writing this post and it makes me so happy.

I keep forgetting there's a new season of QE out there. Have to start on that. Much enjoyment!

Those cats are adorable! And I'm sure they know it, as they all seem to.

QE lifts me up each time I watch. I often think I need a Fab Five in my life to sort me out, or even just a Jonathon to appear every now and then, pat my shoulder and tell me I'm fabulous and worth it.

Oh they know it. I don't know how long you've been reading recently but Murphy is a relatively recent addition to the house. He's 9 months old and has energy to spare. While Milo is an old man of around 18 who tolerates this new comer beautifully. Until he doesn't and gives Murphy a swipe around the head *g*

Yes! We all need a Jonathon to come around now and then to cheer us up! Or a Bobby to refurbish our homes, for sure! :)

Wow, I'm surprised Milo hasn't carved Murphy up and dropped him into the trash by now. He's obviously very patient. We have a 9 year old cat that still acts like a kitten at times and the older ones all want to throttle him, I can't even imagine what they'd do to a kitten.

Oh no poor Murphy! I'm sorry for his sake, and for yours having all that extra hassle. I hope his eye heals up quickly.

Murphy was so scared going to the vet. They're lovely with all the cats but I still hate the drop and go system. I'm sure his eye will heal fast though, at least with him eating so much it's easy to crush and feed him antibiotics.

Poor Milo, seriously, that cat is infinite patience.

Poor Murphy! I'll keep my fingers crossed the meds will work swiftly and that he'll stay healthy this time.

Well, Murphy's eye is better but now he's got diarrhoea. Hopefully, it's just because he's on antibiotics, but if it's not it means collecting samples and testing. I'm already glad he's well insured!

It's excellent news, I really thought Mog was done for.

Murphy is very photogenic and it's fun trying to capture him being silly.

I need to try and get more of Pansy, I have fewer of her due to her hiding upstairs mostly.
