You get money in one hand and it goes out of the other.

The cap on my front tooth fell off today. It's been on since I was a teenager so has done well, but I wish it had hung on for a bit longer as goodness knows what this is going to cost to fix. Thankfully I still have the cap so fingers crossed, it can be fixed back on somehow and that will cost less. At least the mask-wearing means I can go out without revealing my gap-toothed self.

Other than that it's been a chill and nice day. Some comments answered, caught up at DW and some of LJ and I've kept up with my mini wrimo pledge and had an okay amount of words today.

Oh, and I found out that the new Bob the Streetcat film is being streamed, and not only that, it's a Christmas Bob the Streetcat. I mean, come on, could it be any more perfect for me?

Talking of Christmas, I'm really liking the Amazon advert. I'm sure it'll be the first of many to use the same themes but it melted my cold black heart. And, I've just seen the one for Walkers Crisps that one made me laugh.

I like the Amazon ad, but every time I see it I worry that the poor girl is going to break both ankles dancing on that incredibly unsafe surface.

those adverts are amazing - I loved both, for different reasons. it seems UK advertisers pull out all stops with their Xmas ads,I love to see links to them each year

I'm hoping they'll say they can just cement the cap back on as it seems fully intact. Of course, it'll still cost something for that, but will be much cheaper than having a new one made and fitted.

I love the Christmas adverts and am glad others do too. It's been interesting to see which direction the brands go, some mentioning COVID and others not at all.

I'll be phoning the dentist as soon as it opens. Thankfully it doesn't hurt, but doesn't look the best either.

Your comment reminded me of a discussion I saw on another forum where people were pointing out that dancing on that surface would destroy expensive ballet shoes. Both points are very true.

I have to admit, I want to try the sausage roll flavour crisps. Or better still, get some for James and pinch one of his in case they're terrible.

I'll have to make a mental note of the bonus points of masks, hiding teeth will go along with, they keep your nose warmer.

I'm hoping they can cement the cap back on. Which will cost enough, but much less than a whole new cap will.

I want to see the Christmas Bob so badly. I'm sure in usual times it would have been my first Christmas movie to see at the cinema, where I'd turn up with my ridiculous Christmas drink from Costa and lose myself in everything festive, even if it was just November. But, I'll see it soon enough I'm sure.
