Nov. 18th, 2020 04:15 pmI had a surprise this morning when I received a package from
pensnest containing a tea advent calender, a beautiful home made card and two sparkle deer decorations \o/ It was such a lovely surprise and got my day off to a great start. Thank you again, Pen.
Also, something amazing happened yesterday, also from a friend, I just want to put it out there that the world is full of good, kind, fabulous people and I need to never forget that.
James' work doctor phoned him today and she's happy for him to go back, but wants him to get another month of sick note mainly so they can be fully sure he's over COVID and so they can start to put his new training schedule into place. That will bring him to just before Christmas, which will be difficult timing in terms of getting all his training done in a logical manner as his new department doesn't actually run over Christmas and then in a very cut down way between then and New Year.
Such a lovely gift to receive ♥

Poor Clem. She's all fixed now, thankfully.

Dentist tomorrow, and hopefully by the end of the morning I won't have a gap-toothed smile any more.

Date: 2020-11-19 06:52 am (UTC)I hope something can be worked out for James's training. That sounds like very inconvenient timing. Though it's good of course that they're allowing time for thorough recovery from COVID.

Date: 2020-11-22 04:46 pm (UTC)It is good they're taking COVID into account, but the timing? Man, of all the times it could work out at.

Date: 2020-11-19 07:21 pm (UTC)That's very awkward timing indeed but hopefully it will work out so that James gets all the training he needs. *keeps fingers crossed*
Poor Clem!

Date: 2020-11-22 04:17 pm (UTC)Yeah, as timing goes it isn't the best. But, I'm sure they'll find him something to do.
I know! I was so glad when she was fixed.
