turpsMurphy was at the vet's for his boosters today. Sadly it's still drop and go, and he was so scared going in :(
But, he's had his boosters and is perfectly healthy, except, he needs to go on a diet. He's 6kg which is 1kg over what he needs to be for his age and body type. With having an intolerance to wet food he doesn't eat that now -- I give Milo and Pansy their wet food upstairs -- but does have a complete dry food and is used to grazing all day. So now I have two elderly cats that need to put on weight and a youngster that needs to lose some.
Back home after the vets and what I should have been doing was some tidying up. What I've actually been doing was watching Panic's cover of Karma Police on repeat. People who've been around awhile may remember this happens sometimes and I've spent time happily feeling like I was back in 2008 at the height of my bandom addiction. The first comment under the video says am I the only one who keep watching this video just waiting for Ryan to sing that "I'm afraid that I" and no, no you are not commenter, I do exactly the same. Oh Panic v2 and specifically RyRo with your painted bird face and ridiculous clothes, I will forever hold you in my heart.
Before I lose myself in more nostalgia because where Panic are, MCR will surely lurk whispering, watch me. I see MCR are teasing at new music and maybe even a make-up line. Which first, new music! Second, if Mikey wants to rock the eyeliner again I'll be very happy. And I know, he won't, but there's no harm in hoping -- and watching hours worth of Black Parade footage just to remember how damn hot he looked in that eyeliner.

oh, MCR, never change! because I love you with my whole heart! Really what better advertising could there be than to wear the new makeup, if that's what it is, so I hope they make the sound business decision there.

Date: 2020-12-10 10:53 am (UTC)It was horrible taking him to the vets and he was so subdued all night, which isn't like him at all. I really dislike the drop and go system, I get why it has to happen, but I hated having to leave him in the lobby in his carrier when he had no idea what was going on.

I saw this morning they've announced the make-up line officially and I agree, it would be excellent advertising to wear it. Fingers crossed!

He's frightened of Pansy which is ridiculous as she's small and timid but somehow is terrifying to him. I've cut down treats for him to one small stick a day, now I guess it'll be portion size of dry food.

We almost got an MCR tour, now we got eyeliner. The consolation prize is alright.
