Someone sent me two beautiful handmade sparkle deer decorations today. I don't know who but I'm assuming it's a friend from on here or Insta so have posted on both. Seriously, they're gorgeous and so much better than my photos made them look. Whoever it is, thank you! I love them loads.

There's also a silver one that's just as beautiful.

The rest of the day consisted of present wrapping then doctor's appointments. I had my b12 first at 2, then my implant change at 3:30, at two buildings at most five minutes walk apart. I could have walked home but would have had to turn around and came back out again as soon as I got there, and of course, all the coffee shops are closed so I couldn't even settle down and have a coffee somewhere for an hour.

In the end, I went to my second appointment and asked if it was okay if I just waited there, and they said yes. But only a few minutes later the doctor came and said she had a spare 15 minutes and could see me then.

Things you don't want to hear when someone is cutting something out of your arm. "Oh, the implant has snapped in two places". "I'll just make the hole bigger", that was said not once, but twice, and "oh, I thought I had it but it was just some fat." Then, when she got it out she realised that the end had snapped off and she had to go digging again. So, her good deed of squeezing me in backfired as I was there for nearly 3/4 an hour. Then had to go wait in the waiting room again so I could see someone else for my smear.

But, both are done now and won't have to be repeated for another three years.

Another positive to the day. I didn't realise but the building where I went second is also where they're doing COVID vaccinations and it was so busy, full of elderly men and women getting their first injection. There was such a good buzz about the place which is extra needed at the moment.

Happy Christmas, honey (I ran out of time to have them come here and send them on!) I figured you can always fit more sparkly deer into your festive arrangements ;)

That sounds like a rough appointment - here's to it being done, and staying done for the next few years!

Oh no, that sounds like a very unpleasant experience indeed! However I'm glad to hear you've got it behind you for a while now.

Pretty! I was just thinking earlier today that if I'm not too scared to go shopping in actual stores this time next year, I'll have to keep a lookout for sparkle deers to send you!

Those deers are so pretty! I just love the scrollwork ornamentation.

Ouch, ouch, ouch!! That's so not something you want to experience right before the holidays. I hope you're arm isn't too sore.

Those reindeer are cute!
And the fiasco with the implant sounds thoroughly unpleasant... yech

Oh wow. I hope you had some kind of numbing agent in place while all that was going on!
