i had to mention my fannish stuff too, so i totally get that part. it's part of you, just as much as any other aspect of fandom. also, you know, funkos are super cute. and i relate to a lot of this, especially the bits about being with fellow fen in person, and having known some of these people for going on two decades. it's just such a nice thing, to be able to make such long-standing friends.
