I'm in the middle of writing a response to the picture prompts I asked for a few challenges ago, so I'll say this is half done at this point. So I guess it's a case of, watch this space.
I've been watching a lot and reading a lot lately. I've seen the first two episodes of Wandavision and enjoyed them. Yesterday I started to watch Bridgerton and am two episodes in so far. That is one pretty show with some excellent scenery and beautiful outfits for both the men and women. It's also engaging so I'm looking forward to watching more.
I read a Downton Abbey fic yesterday which I really enjoyed. Not Much of an Everyone (To Get On With) by Jolie_Black. I assume I got it from someone on here as I don't look for Downton stuff myself, so thank you, unremembered rec person, I really enjoyed your rec.
I still have the really long Thomas centric Downton story as recced by a couple of people tabbed. I'm looking forward to reading but need the uninterrupted time to do so.
It was snowing when I went to bed last night. The big fat flakes that look beautiful and picturesque and everything was covered quickly. By the time I woke up, it was raining so heavily all that was left was some slush on top of the greenhouse.
Good news, both my MiL and FiL have had their first COVID vaccination. A nurse came to the house to give my Mil's hers, while my FiL went to a walk-in clinic. He's fine but my MiL is feeling a bit ropey, but hopefully that won't last long.

Date: 2021-01-22 07:56 am (UTC)That's very true. I did enjoy watching the snow come down and the world turn white. But then could easily walk the next day. So as you say, win-win.

That sounds exactly like how the weather was here. Boo at the snow not staying
Oh that is good news!

The snow was gorgeous! Really fat flakes fluttering down and everywhere covered in minutes. But back the rain came.
It was excellent news :D

Date: 2021-01-22 07:52 am (UTC)I was thrilled a nurse came to the house. It was great service and has eased my mind in terms of all my extra vulnerable loved one having had the first jab now.
