It's February and that means I'm going to take part in the 'Stuff I love' challenge. I may not do every day, but I'll give it a go.

Okay, so, it may have been noted I like cats. I have three right now. So, I thought a nice start would be to talk about Milo, my oldest cat.



We got Milo a very long time ago. One of James' work friends was moving and couldn't take her cat with her. So we said we'd take her cat in. What we didn't know was she actually had two cats, Milo and Tinker, and we came home with them both. Tinker was beautiful and I miss her but we had to have her pts last year &her;

This was about 16 years ago, and as we never knew how old Milo was when we got him, we assume he's about 18-19 now.

Milo is a big lump of a cat, so gentle and placid. He's got a long nose and big eyes and likes to dramatically flop to the floor and stretch out. He's never been a lap cat but likes to stay next to me, either on the chair arm or the riser bit of the recliner when I'm watching TV. He also likes to sleep in the gap between mine and James' pillows in bed and lie on the landing when I'm in the bath.

Milo is incredibly tolerant of Murphy and is the only one that other cats will actually interact with. Pansy likes to groom him then bite his ears, while Murphy treats him as a plaything, even though all Milo wants to do is have a quiet life.

He's a bit old and rickety now but after being ill a few months ago is getting on fine for his age.















I'll do the other cats at some point over the month, I don't want to go into cat overload too soon *g*

We watched more It's a Sin last night and all I can say is, man, what a brilliant show. But we needed to go watch something a bit gentle afterwards. I'd say I hope the worst was over, but with two eps to go I suspect I'll have my heart wrung a few more times yet.

Cats are the best.

Milo is the cutest and such a softy. He'll sit and watch Murphy eat his food even if he's hungry himself.

Yeah, you need something cheerier for after It's a Sin - it's so good, but it's so real and it's very hard.

It's A Sin is so good, but harrowing to watch at times. We followed it by the Pottery Throwdown last night, goodness knows what we'll need for the last ep.

Milo is doing so great. The old fossil face that he is.

So many wonderful photos of your grand old man! The first one is so funny and I love how he's sideeyeing your bath in the second. The last one is the best however, nothing beats relaxing in the sun!

The first photo was such a fluke, but it makes me laugh each time I see it.

But I agree, him relaxing in the sun is such a cat thing to do.

The sink is perfectly Milo sized. He's king of the bathroom in there *g*

WHAT a handsome fellow! I love the photos of him sitting in front of your screen, as if to say, "pay attention to me instead!"

I think I've got photos of every cat I've had sitting in front of my computer screen. Sometimes multiple cats. The icon has it right *g*
