I had a very nice mail day today, thank you so much dine for the Valentine's card, and thank you sperrywink for the joint birthday and Christmas gift of a beautiful deer ornament and light up elks. You're both fab for thinking of me ♥ deer ornament and cards, elks and photo bombing Murphy

Like many places in the UK it's been snowing heavily the last two days. It looks pretty, but I'm very glad I don't have to go out in it.

At least it's not raining I guess, which is good for our leak situation. That got worse over the weekend, so much so water was coming in through the light fitting in the hall. We've had two people out and after being quoted from both, the first will be out once this weather warning is over and will fix the roof and the flashing, which is apparently in a terrible state. Honestly, it's money we could do without spending, but, the roof does need to be fixed and it'll be nice to be weather tight again.

You know what's worse though? Some of you may remember the wasps nest that was in the toilet roof. Well, now that roof has come in a dead wasp is slowly sliding into view from the hole. I can only imagine that many more will be in there D:

I enjoyed The Masked Singer at the weekend, but had no idea Dragon would be Sue Perkins! What a voice she has, I was amazed. I'm really looking forward to the final next weekend, especially finding out who Badger is at last.

I finished watching season one of Rosewell New Mexico last night. It's been on my planner for ages but I only watched a few eps and forgot about it, but then pretty much binge-watched the rest of the season in the last couple of days. I suspect watching season two will be in my future this afternoon. As for reading, I'm still working my way through the mega long Downton fic, and like I said last time, don't think that will change any time soon.

I also signed for h/c bingo's postage stamp challenge as it's the one bingo I've ever managed to achieve, and yeah, this will take some thinking as you need to add all the prompts to the story.

I have long adored Sue Perkins, and now have to see if I can find Dragon's performances, or at least the reveal.

The snow looks lovely. I had to go to the post office today and got caught in thundersnow. That was a bit different. But thankfully I've been inside watching it for most of the day.

You may have found it already but this is Sue's reveal. I remain amazed it was her, I had no idea she could sing so well.

I can't believe it's still snowing, we haven't had prolonged snow like this since the beast from the east a few years back. Thankfully it's not as bad as that though, I took a header into a snowdrift that time *g*

Sue sounded great, I would never have guessed it was her.

Well, the repairman is the son of a scout leader friend of James', so hopefully, he will do a good job. He recommended we get rubbed to fix it at first, but at close to 1k that wasn't an option in the slightest. The felt will do just fine.

I still need to pull the wasp out of the hole, but am worried if I do so more will fall out.

We're spreading our winter abroad, it seems. Have fun enjoying your snow while it lasts :-)

The deer is gorgeous, and I suspect it'll be on display all year.

The snow is still falling! Not as much as previous days but occasional flurries. Actually, when it's blue skies and sunshine the - temps don't seem as bad. It's when it's grey and slushy I hate.

We're still waiting for the roof repair, not that I blame them for not wanting to do it in this weather. At least the snow doesn't make the roof leak.

Thank you. I think I'll need that luck.
