Back again. But feeling a whole lot better. It's just been one of those days when I felt all blah but really I'm feeling 100% better now.

But I do want to have an evening of just sitting and reading. So I'm asking for recs. What's your favourite story? If you read what I write, and if you do are you insane? ;) -- you'll know what I'm into, but a quick reminder. My main fandoms are popslash, The Sentinel and Mutant X, but if anyone can point me to any new MX I'll write a Shal/Bren het fic *g* But if you have other fandoms include them too. The only squick I have is cross-dressing, after that go to town. I adore kink, darkfic, n/c, toys, fluff, humour anything really.

My favourite characters are Chris, Kevin, Brennan and Blair, but again I'll branch out if needed.

So anyone have recs? I want to just sit with a cup of coffee in my jammies and read tonight.

- my fave is eyes of the beholder

The Long Run (http://tiff.wearemany.net/longruni.html) by Tiffany Rawlins it's trickyfish but one of my faves!

and this is my all time fave Choey story
The Old Apartment (http://www.because-yes.com/rachel/shorts/apartment.html)

I don't know if you like my writing or not but my stuff is all at Champagne High (http://www.orange-jello.com/fiction)

Thanks for the recs, I know I can trust you for awesome Chris stories.

I've read Kim's stuff and The Long Run, but I feel re-reads will be in my immediate future.

And do I like your writing? Are you crazy! You write about a lot of things I love, kink and dark at times. As much as I love popslash sometimes I just want more stories with an edge and you provide that. I really must send you a load of LoC's if you didn't know how much I love your stuff.

*worships you*

I'm bad at remembering fic names and stuff so I'm bad at recs.

oh! do you know the Pern universe? I have a fave popslash AU set written in that universe if you want the link. but you kinda gotta know the world or it wont make sense.

and dude, I haven't written anything new in forever so I don't figure anyone is reading any of my stuff and I never get any feedback except for the initial when I post the stuff so *shrugs* also most of what I write is outside of the normal feel good realm so it doesnt get read much.

I'm glad you do like my stuff though :o) means a lot. maybe one of these days I'll get writing again. *kicks self*

I can so relate to not remembering names and stuff. I'll tell you what stories I like by describing them, but ask for titles and you're out of luck.

I guess feedback's the same for everyone. I've a site of stuff from three fandoms and I get feedback maybe three times a year. I do okay when it first gets posted, but after that... *shrug*.

I wish you were writing again, but I won't push, because like I said before there's nothing worse than being harassed about when you're going to write.

As for being outside the normal feel good realm, that's why I like your work. I love popslash fandom, but the feel good stuff way outweighs the dark, edgier pieces. Which I personally think is a shame. Because the world really needs more stories like 'Enough' and 'Sparkle' I've just re-read those from my folder, and man, you know how to heat a girl up ;)

The Pern series is the dragons right? If it is, I'd love the rec :)

A couple of classic, and very amusing stories that I seem to rec to everyone are:

Coldhearted by Jae (multiple pairing crossover) &
Stoned by Halo (*NSYNC GSF)

Other than that, you might like to check out [livejournal.com profile] pseuodbitch for a bunch of other popslash recs :)

And why didn't I know you had another LJ? I've just spent a happy hour there checking all the recs out.

*lol* I have piles of the things.

Well.

Most of them are dead RPG ones, but that's not the point *g* I should probably delete them to free up server space and user names for the LJ folk.

Also, if you're interested in some The Sentinel or Mutant X stories that you might not have read, there are a few on my fabulae archive (http://fabulae.org) The Mutant X ones are Jag crossovers, though :)

Thanks for the link to your site! You are multi-talented aren't you!

I enjoyed the MX crosses, it's so rare to find new MX that I haven't read. I run a MX slash archive so spend a lot of time looking for new stuff, so thank you!

Ummmmmm...

I have a slash MX rec that I bet you haven't read, unless you read it just because it was slash! It's on FF.net, so maybe you did, maybe you didn't... ..if you didn't, please finish Locked in a Cycle part 3, no BS het for me, thankyou!!!!

This one is really good, a bit weird, both in setting and style, but the style is just so dramatically original, I loved it.

And I've figured out bold & italics, but not the link thingie, so here's the addy:

Happy Reading!!!
