I got my h/c exchange beta back last night, thankfully with very little to change. Which means I'll spend less than an hour doing that, and the rest of the time until deadline trying to think of a title and decide what tags I should be using.

I've been looking into making my own cold brew coffee. It's too cold for it yet but I do enjoy a good iced coffee when it's warmer and making my own should keep the costs down. It looks relatively simple but apparently, you need coarse beans which I don't have. I have ground coffee, coffee pods and instant stuff, so coarse beans will have to be added to the shopping list at some point.

Not that it looks like I'll be having an iced coffee soon, stupid weather. At least my seeds have started to grow, even if they have taken over all of the kitchen draining board.

Though admittedly, we stopped at the beach earlier to have lunch and it was warm enough when the sun came out. And when the wind dropped for an instant, and when you were sitting in the car with the heated seats on.

You will definitely have the most impressive array of coffee in your kitchen! :p No but seriously, I hope it turns out well so you can have iced coffee whenever you like.

If I was rich I'd love a bean to coffee machine, sadly I'll have to stick with what I have and experimenting with cold brew.

I love the heated car seats, sadly it looks like our next car may not have them as the new design Mokka is out of our price range deposit wise. I'll miss them a lot if that happens.

It always takes me forever to think of a title. You'd think it would be easy, but nope.

I've had a look and it seems, you can buy beans specifically for cold brew. Not that I'll be trying for a while, iced coffee is very much a summer thing for me.

Titling goes two ways for me, either I have one at the start (like if the fic is based on a song lyric) or it’s the last thing and the hardest part of the fic

Yeah it’s just a few little things that I got from a little kit (a type of grass and cosmos). I did get some other seeds to sow like wildflowers, but the weather has been too iffy

I didn't know you had to brew in a special way to make cold coffee. I thought you just brewed in in the ordinary way and let it get cold. Good luck with making your own!

It was suddenly summer warm here today! After weeks and weeks of at most +10C having the temperature rise to +25C in the afternoon was an enormous shock!

Thank you! I still haven't picked a title. I suspect it'll take the shock of the count down clock appearing for me to do so.

Well, I thought that's how you made cold coffee too. But, one day I started wondering what the difference was between cold brew and iced coffee, both of which are sold at the coffee chains. Turns out cold brew you soak the beans for 12 hours and make a sort of coffee liquid that you add to water or milk. While iced coffee is as you say, brewed the normal way and let it go cold. I like the idea of having the cold brew ready in the fridge for when it gets warm. But need the beans first.

They're growing like crazy now. Our temps have just shot up too so I've just spent a few hours in the garden potting things on.
