turpsI submitted my h/c exchange story yesterday, so that's one thing ticked off the list. In part due to sperrywink who got me over my initial arggggh reaction and ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
themoononastick who came through yet again beta wise.
We've cinema tickets at Durham for the coming Friday and also a slot to go to The Pawsome Cat cafe. That works out very nicely as Odeon is literally a few minutes walk from the cafe.
Re.F.use. has been refurbishing its kitchen so has been shut for a while, but yesterday was open for one day only in order to clean out stock. So we headed off there for opening and they had some great stuff. For example, lots of good quality chocolate and other goodies as well as the usual store cupboard products and fruit and veg. As we were first in the queue we picked Hotel Chocolate stuff as well as a catering pack of Starbucks beans and lots of other more everyday products. Not bad for £2 a bag.
I need to get out the slug pellets as the marigolds I planted have been stripped and only have stalks left. We always have snail problems but I thought it was too early for them yet, but it seems not.
