turpsephemera was in the area this weekend, so we got to meet up this afternoon, sadly only for around 2 1/2 hours but that was enough for a natter, lots of hugs and meeting up with a good friend I haven't seen in far too long.We went to Mog on the Tyne, though the cats had that sleepy Sunday feel, well, until the Dreamies came out. At which point we had a table of cats as we fed them treats, at which point I suspected a Dreamie had fallen in my latte. Taking a chance, I drank it anyway, and yep, there it was. I must admit, I can't say it improved the flavour of my drink *g*
After our slot finished and a short walk as we were staying close to the station we settled in the sunshine at Starbucks for a while. As we were so close to the station it was noisy, but also sunny and warm and I was with some of my favourite people so it was a lovely way to spend time.
Fingers crossed we'll meet up again much sooner than the couple of years it has been this time.
