Sep. 24th, 2021 08:51 amI got my flu jab on Wednesday, in and out of the doctor's in a matter of minutes. I had to laugh when I checked the app to double-check my appointment time and saw I'd been booked into the over 65 clinic. I know I feel that old sometimes but there's quite a while to go before I'm actually that age.
James got his flu jab too and today gets his Covid booster, which is a relief.
He's going for that after work, then we're going to the theatre to see The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Everyone going needs proof of double vaccination or negative LF test, masks on at all times, and I'm looking forward to going, especially as reviews have been great. Fannish niece was supposed to be going with my SiL but that's not happening so up to now it'll just be us three.
I enjoyed the start of Bake Off, and the new series of Don't Mind the Buzzcocks, then the new Task Master was last night, though I haven't seen that yet. And in a total change of pace, new All Creatures Great and Small which is just gentle niceness. So, I've lots of new TV to watch.
Especially as one of the free movie channels has turned to all Christmas films already. And yes, even I will say that's too soon. But has it stopped me from having that channel on? No, it has not!

But next time for sure!

Date: 2021-09-27 09:00 am (UTC)I enjoyed Buzzcocks a lot, though suspect like many of the same genre, the guests will make a difference in terms of laughter levels.
I know, as much as I enjoy Christmas films to change to them 24/7 in September does seem too soon.

Date: 2021-09-27 08:55 am (UTC)Christmas movies are the best. I've got one on now as background watching. They're great as 90% of the time the plots are so similar they're easy to pick up at any point.
I did \o/
