Kayleigh and Lucy took Bodhi to see Santa today and just





They've been trying to book a visit for a while but all the good grottos had been fully booked but they were walking through the shopping mall at Sunderland and that Santa was there, and he looks like a pretty good one. Bodhi got a Noddy book as her gift and apparently loves it, guess she must be advanced for three months *g*

Pauline had her op yesterday and I was surprised when she phoned around 7pm to let me know she was back home. It seems the job was much more extensive than expected and she says her face is a mess. I was shocked to hear she had a local as I wouldn't want anyone messing with my face while I'm awake but as she insisted she wanted it done as a day case I guess she had no choice. She goes on Monday to get the stitches out and results, and I really hope that's the end of it and everything is gone.

It's supposed to be warmer today than yesterday but I call bull on that. I'm in my knock-off Oodie to keep warm, but exciting news, I'm getting an actual Oodie for Christmas. Obviously, it's not a surprise as James is incapable of keeping anything secret, but at least the pattern will be a surprise. So that's on the way, as well as a few parcels that contain gifts for James' birthday and then Christmas. I've been looking at the Hotel Chocolate hot chocolate as Re.F.Use got some donated and James has been having a mug every time we've been recently. But the stuff is £12 for 10 sachets which, ouch. I mean, I probably will buy it as he will love it and drink it but again, ouch. And yeah, I'm aware I'll buy coffee when out that comes to more for the same amount of drinks, but instant stuff you make at home seems different somehow.

And ha, just got a text saying one of the parcels will be delivered within 48 hours from tomorrow. Well that's great, not like I ever want to leave the house in the next two days.

Don't you just love delivery services? *rolls eyes* (Nowadays here in the US they just leave stuff without waiting for a signature. Sometimes I'm home and don't know they've come until I go outside and trip over the package. They don't even knock to let you know. OR if the dogs bark, lol!)

Not knocking is all kinds of wrong. I know you haven't got close neighbours, that I've seen anyway, but that's lacking security-wise. Plus, it could rain or things like that.

Sometimes their kind enough to leave them on the front porch (not the door we normally use, but at least it has a roof) or in the garage, but the ones who just leave them on the front step irritate me for that very reason. I have had packages get damp before, though never stolen, thankfully.

Just been catching up with your posts from the last month! So very full of socialising, I must admit I got exhausted just reading it :D I'm still in denial about Christmas and Christmas gifts. Lalala *stuffs fingers to ears*

It's weird, often I don't go out/do anything/see people for ages then all at once there are clusters of socialisation. Almost too big of a cluster lately.

I've been watching Christmas films for so long at this point December is sliding in without me noticing.

Hotel Chocolate hot chocolate is annoyingly delicious! I usually buy the refill pouches, because they're a bit cheaper per gram than the sachets, but they're still expensive.

I was looking at those refill pouches, and after your comment went for those in the salted caramel. It's good to know it'll be just as nice as the sachets.

It is a lovely photo, they must have got the perfect combo of her not being tired and having a good Santa.

Pauline's op went well and she seems to be recovering well. Stitches out tomorrow when they'll know more.

Sadly the weather got much worse. Snow, wind and bitterly cold.

Ouch is right, I know it's tasty stuff but it really is expensive.

That is a most adorable photo of Bodhi! I am impressed with how wide awake and smiley she is - I know those moments are sometimes hard to capture on camera, with babies. Very festive!

I think Kayleigh and Lucy were really lucky with this series of photos because Bodhi was awake and smiley. So many babies are captured at the wrong time so they're crying in their first Santa photo.

I can't believe how big Bodhi is either. They were up here early and she was sitting upright on my knee, as long as I boosted her a little anyway. She's growing so fast.

I like hot chocolate, but not as much as James. He goes into raptures about the Hotel Chocolate stuff. When you come back here you'll have to go for a mug together *g*
