Happy Christmas to all who celebrate!

I've been far too early after getting a claw to the forehead from Milo. He's a bit clumsy sometimes and was trying to get to his space next to my pillow and obviously misjudged. After that wake up I couldn't get back to sleep so have been drinking coffee and watching a Christmas concert on TV.

Corey had to work last night so James will be going to pick him up around midday, meaning a later dinner than usual so a nice relaxed morning for us.

Yesterday started meeting Kayleigh and Lucy in Costa for gingerbread lattes, where I got to feed Bodhi her bottle. And ended like the below, on the couch, feet up, all the lights glowing, cats on my lap and watching tv as James wrapped my presents upstairs.

However you spend today, I hope it's good for you and you get to spend it with or speak to people you love and do things that make you happy ♥

Oof, I hope Milo didn't hurt you too much! But feeding Bodhi sounds like a lovely experience, and I hope you get to have a good celebration with Corey and more feet-up relaxed time too. ♥

Not lasting damage, just a shock at the time.

It really was nice feeding Bodhi. Kayleigh and Lucy have been rigid in obeying the health visitor who said only parents should feed at first to establish trust and bond. So it was lovely to be offered the opportunity.

Sadly Corey has to be back at work for 11 tomorrow so it's only an overnight visit. But I'll take it.

I'm home - too likely the snow's predicted for tonight/tomorrow will last a while, and I couldn't be stuck down there for days on end.

It was lovely getting to feed Bodhi. It was such a nice start to Christmas eve, especially as I spent most of the day alone.
