Like I said yesterday, I'm going in The Musketeers direction.

It's only a small fandom now, but I love it lots. I just wish it had many more episodes, and that 90% of season three didn't happen.

Dirty_diana also does a very lovely Aramis/Anne vid. While I dislike a lot of season 3 it does make sense to me that those two end up together in some way.

Fic wise, I'll forever rec The Musketeer Dragon Rider series. It's so good, I love all the dragons and the world-building and just everything about it.

Another story that's just a load of fluff but I've read it too many times. The Musketeers have to shave in order to undercover for a mission. It's a short fic but the second chapter has this passage that makes me laugh every time.



Aramis has many good qualities that Athos appreciates. He also has a multitude of bad habits, all of which often serve to make life miserable for those around him. He never met a stupid risk that he wasn't tempted to take. He doesn't have the good sense to duck under fire. He just can't seem to help himself around other men's wives.

He can also be an evil, vindictive little bastard, and right now, Athos hates every bone in his body.

Smooth.

I do love them a lot, though wish I'd joined the fandom a lot earlier.

I'm hopelessly out of the loop when it comes to BBC, but that video was FUN and I could see them being a rather fun group to watch. Thank you for the video shares! I find them quite easy to enjoy even when I don't know the fandom.

The show is fun, and didn't take itself seriously mostly, which is something I liked.

I also agree with enjoying videos even if I don't know the fandom. The visual aspect makes it much easier to enjoy unknown characters.

It's a show filled with eye candy, which is a plus.

It's also a lot of fun, especially the first two seasons when it mostly didn't take itself seriously.

Urgh, that video makes me want to go back and rewatch the show. Or at least season one and maybe season two, because it's been a while but I seem to remember that, like you, I largely felt that season three should not have happened.

But also, I need to watch more TV shows that involve good looking men dressed in periodesque kit, because my god they look tasty,

(I used to larp. I will say with absolute certainty that literally everyone looks better dressed in that kind of kit. No exceptions)
