Unsurprising, but Lucy has now tested positive for Covid too. She's exhausted and has a sore throat, which is pretty much how Kayleigh felt, but she's much better now, so hopefully, it'll be the same for Lucy soon. Bodhi is much better now too, so that's good.

I've just been watching the latest This Is Us and oh man, that show. Two hankie alert for sure, and I'm sure that will rise for the very last ep which is in a few weeks. I know the show has issues and has gone off the boil on occasions, but I've been watching from the start and am invested in that family.

I was planning on potting on more tomato plants this afternoon but James messaged to say he's got an appointment at the doctor's and could I meet him down there. He's had a horrible rash on the back of his leg for a few days. I've been putting on antibiotic cream and it seemed to be getting better but apparently got worse while he was at work so they suggested he get an appointment and get it sorted as the last thing he needs is getting cellulitis. It doesn't help that his leg never really gets any air due to having to wear a heavy splint at all times.

It works out though as from the doctors we can go straight to the voting station and vote. So another thing ticked off the list.

Meh, I just got a phone call from the hospice saying my lymph nurse Grahame is off on the sick and not expected back any time soon. I was half expecting them to change my appointments, which actually may have eased things a little, but instead, they've been shuffled to another nurse and most much earlier. While I'm happy enough to see someone else I will miss Grahame, he's been there for me since the start and we've got a nice relationship going where he knows how much to push and what to say.

And with that, I better start for the doctors. See who gets there first, James from Newcastle in the car or me on foot.

I hope you and James are able to avoid the Covid, and that Lucy and co recover quickly. And that Grahame is back soon! It's nice when you have continuity in care with someone you like.

I'm keeping well away from Kayleigh, Lucy and Bodhi right now, which feels all kinds of wrong as I usually see them often. But I've caught Covid from them once, I don't want to risk it again.

I hope Grahame's okay. I know this new nurse will read my notes but that's not the same as someone who's been with you from the start.

I'm sorry to hear Lucy is positive for COVID now, but at least Kayleigh and Bodhi are better.

I hope your doctor's visits go well for both of you!

All best wishes for Lucy to make a good recovery. And I'm glad Kayleigh and Bodhi are on the upswing again.

Also, my goodness, what a lot of medical churn you're having to deal with lately. Good wishes for James - rashes are no fun! And I hope your new nurse will come up to speed quickly so they can be useful to you!

I had to google cellulitis, but yeah, nobody wants that! I hope the appointment went well and that things went smoothly with voting.

Bummer that your usual nurse won't be available! I hope this new one works out for you.

I hope that Lucy will be feeling much better soon, too. I'm not surprised she ended up catching it though, their house is so small it was impossible to isolate properly.

Thankfully James got meds for his rash and they think it's inflamed skin and not infected skin, which is a big plus. As for me, I'm sure it will go well. It's just a shame I won't have that person who knows my history via talking to me over time and not just from a screen.

Yeah, both Kayleigh and Bodhi are much better, and hopefully, Lucy will be the same soon, too.

Well James' visit went well, mine is a week and a bit away, but fingers crossed will also go well. Even if I have to be there much earlier than I was expecting.

I suspect it was always inevitable Lucy would test positive eventually. I'm just glad they all seem to have got a mild version.

Everything did go well, it wasn't cellulitis, but inflamed skin not infected skin, so that's hopefully been nipped in the bud. And yes, voting happened too.

I got there first! Though to be fair, James does work a 45-minute commute away and I had just over a mile to get to the doctors *g*

Poor Lucy!! I guess it was pretty inevitable that she too would get it but it must still suck for her. Hopefully she won't get too ill! *sends her lots of healthy vibes*

I feel for you! Grahame seems to really have fit with you and to now have to encounter a new nurse must feel quite strange. I'll keep my fingers crossed you'll click with the new nurse too and also that Grahame won't be gone for too long!

Thankfully Lucy is feeling fine now. It seems they all got a mild case which is great.

I will miss Grahame, I did click with him and it'll be weird to have to start over with someone new. But, I'm sure it'll be okay, just a bit strange.

Thankfully I managed to avoid Covid, Kayleigh was the one to give it to me the first time in 2020 so it's good it wasn't a repeat this time.

The new person is nice, I haven't clicked with her as much as my original nurse but it's early days yet.
