May. 23rd, 2022 11:28 amI ordered myself a mystery bath product box from Groupon a few weeks ago and have managed to consistently miss it being delivered for a while now -- though, it would have been easier if a 'we missed you' card had actually been left, so no thanks for that, Evri. Today I was finally in for the attempted delivery and I'm pleased with the contents, lots of bath bombs and one slice of lemon soap. I may use that tonight and just gaze mournfully at the rest *g*
It was James' back appointment this morning and it was quick and easy. We spent more time talking to the staff we know in the department from his many many visits over the years than the actual appointment itself. Instead of going straight to the nerve burning, they're doing the painkilling injections first, which makes sense as it's what happened last time. But what was new was, they must be so backed up at the hospital the back doctor is also doing appointments at our local private hospital where he's also on staff. It's actually closer to us than the main hospital and he said James could get an appointment at either place, so we've both got our fingers crossed for the smaller, nicer facilities, private hospital.
My appointment is at two today and I'm looking forward to it. The walking today has made the bandages slip and one foot is sore across the top where they must be pressing. I am allowed to take them off if I'm in pain but it's soon enough I can cope until then.
A brief fannish note. How much do I love this photo of Mikey and Ray? So very much!
