We went to see Where the Crawdads Sing at the cinema yesterday and man, it was such a good film. I enjoyed it a lot.

Today we were both up really early and decided as we were awake to drive to the beach to catch the sunrise. I've always wanted to do so, so we got there about five minutes before sunrise, walked to a good vantage spot, and watched the sun appear over the ocean -- and about a minute later go behind the thick bank of clouds and never be seen again.

I can't be disappointed we went though, even if I suspect it'll be an early night tonight.

Wow, what a gorgeous shot - you really captured the exact moment of the rising!

I hope you did get to catch up on your rest in the meantime.

It's a pity the clouds hit the sun so quickly but it still sounds like a wonderful experience. The photo is beautiful!
