Dec. 10th, 2022 02:53 pmIt's James' work lunch/night/day out today. He's gone out with lights, tinsel and a bell wrapped around his false leg, so no one can say they won't see him coming.
The younger members of his team are planning to stay out drinking, but he's got the car so will be heading back for six, and won't be drinking at all. I do hope he sticks to that time as while I'm pleased he's out enjoying himself, Newcastle on a night can get a bit lairy at the best of times, add in a few weeks before Christmas and a night of a big England match and well, I'd want to be away from the place.
Meanwhile, I'm staying at home in my Oodie watching more Hawkeye and answering comments. Then later will be having an early bath and book. Living the high life in these parts.
turlough always like to laugh look at my tree. So, it's behind this
There it is in all its over-decorated beauty. New baubles this year include a crocodile in a tutu which is all kinds of awesome and Kayleigh bought me a llama. And yes, it has two different coloured sets of lights, we like them, though I'm sure they're not for everyone.

The view from my desk. Milo and his heated bed have a space in the middle of the Sparkle Deer herd.

Some of the ceramic Santas from my In-Laws. Sadly the light in one of my M&S light-up houses has gone out and you can't seem to replace them which is a shame.

And this one because it makes me laugh, Milo showing a bit of leg *g*

Forgot to say, a new relatively local cat cafe has opened up this week. It's called The Bad Cat Cafe and will be full of cats to be rescued. A visit is in my future for sure.
