Happy New Year!

I managed to stay up to see Big Ben ring in the new year but was in bed by five past midnight. We did indulge in some Sainsbury's own brand Clementine Irish Creme which was delicious and a nice way to see in a new year while watching Sam Ryder who remains the most adorable golden lab like uber friendly guy who seems to give amazing hugs. Other than that, buffet food and more tv. Same old, same old. Still not fussed about the actual night.

Today it's been eating leftovers, the dishwasher loaded twice so far today, with another load nearly ready to go and realising I just couldn't face making and eating a roast dinner. My MiL goes home tomorrow night so I've kicked that back to tomorrow before she goes.

Snowflake Challenge has started and while this isn't the official answer, I did tidy up my sticky post and user info a bit. I trimmed that down a lot but yet again tried and failed to delete the Frank/Mikey banner. What can I say, it just feels wrong not to have it there.

Thinking of, Kristin posted the most adorable reel on her insta of her year in highlight which contained some fantastic photos including Gerard, Frank and Ray, amongst the family shots. They made my heart sing.

Happy New Year!

I was just getting started on my roast and Yorkshire pudding myself! Of course, I don't have guests to wear me out, just a couple sweet kitties. And one of them is snoozing while the other is following me around the house, meowing. He's been fed, petted, played with and given treats. Perhaps he'll feel a naptime coming along soon! LOL

wahhhh i literally disappear every year and then come back around snowflake time/new years and say i'll participate more BUT I REALLY DO WANT TO. ily! i'm so glad you had a nice new year holiday. i love snowflake <3 and you've inspired me to write a little intro post myself.
