  I have this posted on my AO3 user info page and also my sticky post on here. But basically, it's this, I give blanket permission to use my fic for podfic etc, except for co-writes, in which case you need to get the permission of the co-writer first.
  
  
• Current Passion
  
  I still love bandom, especially MCR and FOB. The Musketeers BBC tv show makes my heart sing and I'm still hanging onto the MCU winterhawk ship. I also love going to the cinema, cat cafes, Costa coffee, long bubbly baths, going to the beach, especially in non-summer months and growing veggies in my greenhouse and garden. I also have a thing for Christmas films and am going cold turkey now the Christmas Movie 24 channel has changed back to Movie 24.

I have been meaning to check out The Musketeers for absolutely ages,I am trying to spend this year catching up on shows on a very long to-watch list and I think that will be on it.

As for cat cafes, I also would love to go to one some time, I'm in the Midlands and every time I go away anywhere via Birmingham I always see the one at the station and curse that I don't have time to stop!

I know exactly what you mean about catching up on shows on a very long to-watch list. I have so much I want to watch and yet somehow never achieve that. Though, sometimes, it works out. For example, I was thrilled when I heard Our Flag Means Death starts here soon because it's more likely I'll watch on DVR than downloaded.

I think that the cat cafe at the station is the one shadowhive has been to before, it sounds fun. I'm lucky that I have four relatively locally I visit, and one of those is next door to a dog cafe. It seems like NE is a place of animal cafe lovers.

going to the beach, especially in non-summer months YES! So much this - I love a wild and wooly sea, such a lot. My favourite beach is about an hour away from here, but I am going to do a bit of experimenting to see what sort of drive it is to closer by beaches this quarter.

Oh I saw an advert for Our Flag Means Death the other day, it's one I've been hearing good things about for ages!

Is one of your local ones called Mog On The Tyne? My friend's partner moved down here from Gateshead a few years ago and works with me, she mentioned that one once. I always seem to be passing the Birmingham one at stupid o'clock in the morning, but since I'm only something like an hour and a half away it's easy enough to do it in a day.

You do have a plethora of cat cafes that succeed. Ours closed due to pandemic.

Going to the beach in autumn/winter is the only time I go. SUch a nice vibe.

I do wonder if our cat cafes keep going due to being in university cities. Either that or the NE is full of cat lovers *g* I want to visit the new one that's just opened but we're doing no eating out in January again. And going to a cat cafe doesn't really support that.

I totally agree. One of my favourite things is a hot drink on a cold day at the beach. There's nothing better at blowing away the cobwebs.

Oh, now you've got me thinking. I loved their gingerbread latte but I suspect that will be finished now as it's seasonal. But you can can't go wrong with any of their lattes, I like to get a coconut milk version, though it still frustrates me you have to pay extra for that milk unlike other coffee chains. They also do delicious toasties with lots of gooey cheese and I rate their muffins too. They're very moist and morish.

If you get a hot drink I'd ask for it to be extra hot, it tastes better and is better for when you're just chilling with friends and enjoying the natter. And Unless you're very thirsty, I'd steer clear of the large versions of anything. I got a large latte once and it came in a cup like a bucket.

Or, if you're feeling a bit toasty and want to cool down, their frostinos are good. I really like the mango one with the bubbles you get with bubble tea. Though I'm sure they were pranking me once by giving me a normal straw. Those bubbles do not fit through one of those no matter how hard you suck *g*

That is an excellent plan. I'm spoil by beaches in the area, from the ones next to fairgrounds and lined with chip stalls to ones that have nothing but the sand and sea. I like those ones, though will also enjoy a hot drink on a cold day as I watch the waves crash against the sea walls.

Yes it is! In fact, that's the first cat cafe I ever went to and still my favourite. It has such a lovely vibe and I love the cats are all rescues. Some of the other cafes have pedigree cats, which are lovely, but I love the ones who have found their homes at the cafe.
