The easy option would be to say I've already done this as I've been commenting up a storm at the Snowflake comm. But what I'm going to do is pledge to comment over at A03 for the fics I've enjoyed but not actually commented on.

I have this thing where I'll always comment on the bandom stuff I enjoy simply because I'm so comfortable in the fandom and the writers I follow. But I can do better on the other fandoms where I tend to read on my Kindle and sometimes just leave a kudos.

Which I know is also interacting, but I do want to leave more comments, because I know how much I enjoy getting them so should give more, too. So that's what I'm going to do.

In other news, new Fall Out Boy music is coming and that is delightful! Get in my ears FOB! MCR touring last year, FOB releasing new music, have I suddenly slipped back in time ten years? Now if only RyRo would come out of hiding.

I don't go as far as disliking the kudos button as I know some people do get anxious about writing an actual comment. But yeah, I do like getting them. Like you, I'm there listening.

I love kudos too, don't get me wrong. I just woke up to six kudos in the same fandom (Disney's Descendants). I love Descendants fandom for this, it's one of the best for kudos and hits ever. Maybe it's because it's a medium sized fandom, but I think the people there are just wonderful.

It would be amazing! I would say unlikely, but I thought that about MCR and FOB coming back too, and look at us now!

Back in the day I used to read 99% of the stories on the SPN newsletter and comment on them ALL (because (a)WOW how did I have the time (b)I thought that's what everyone did and (c)no kudos button on LJ). At least 3 people thought I was some kind of ridiculous BNF because they saw me everywhere. I've tried very much to keep at least the commenting side of it going (but I'd need a TARDIS to manage that number of stories again).

I love that story about people thinking you were a BNF. I can see how it happened though as comments really were needed because of the no-kudos button. My problem is when I read on my kindle it's easy to hit the kudos button, not so much to comment. I really do want to make an effort to change that.

I haven't felt in the mood to write longer comments in quite a while but I still try to leave at least a short comment if I liked a story enough to finish it. Hopefully most writers appreciates even the very short comments... In any case, lots of good luck with your vow to comment more!

Bandom is returning from the dead!!

I know I enjoy any kind of comments, long or short. I really need to remind myself to actually leave one when I've read something I've enjoyed on my kindle. I always do kudos, but I like to give more if it's a good fic.

Bandom is so returning from the dead! Mikey spent a lot of time talking about and sharing photos of other musicians last year. Surely he'll bump into FOB at some point *crosses fingers*
