turpsI couldn't believe it when I heard Jock, the presenter from Masterchef Australia had died. He was so young, only 46, and I can't imagine how his family and friends must feel. I've watched Masterchef Australia almost from the start and while I liked George, Matt and Gary, I came to love Jock, Melissa and Andy even more. They seemed to gel so well, and Jock will be a huge miss.
Yesterday's bank holiday was pretty much a usual Sunday but pushed back a day. Grocery shopping, ironing work shirts, we called in to see my brother and had a quick chat as he cut up a log for James. James is now making Gonks, he saw them after his fall when he was too sore to sleep and would watch tv late at night. One of those shows was a YouTube video showing how to make lathed Gonks, the rest is history, and the house is now full of Gonk bodies and fake fur ready to be shaped into beards. By chance there was a craft fair going on at a supermarket we went to recently and from that, we've joined a FaceBook group that advertises craft fairs in the area, so hopefully we'll book some spots and may actually get some stuff sold.
I was looking for a certain music video earlier and ended up on a site which listed what they thought were the Most Iconic music videos of all time. It included A-Ha, Nsync, Panic, MCR and FOB videos so I was quite pleased with their selections. Though, the list was published in 2018 so isn't exactly up-to-date. Still, I had fun watching some old favourites.

I really hope so too, the money will be welcome, and getting some space back in the spare room. Or James' studio as he now calls it.

The Facebook group is perfect. James is off for the long weekend now so I hope he can look through it and get a fair booked.
