turpsWe finally got Rosie back yesterday and it was so good to see her bump free with two covered wing mirrors.
When we were picking her up they said they were having issues getting parts for MG cars and, yeah, that was apparent. But still, she's back now.
I got nothing done that I intended yesterday as my MiL phoned before 9am asking if we could drive her to the doctors as my SiL and her partner were at another appointment. We said yes, so we spent most of the day with her. Doctors, a drive, lunch out from Subway, then hanging out at my SiL's house for a bit until it was time to go get Rosie.
As well as the good phone call about the car James got one from Occ Health from his work, she's going to phone the hospital and see if she can get his back appointment pushed forward, which would be great. The work physio has also said he'll see James to help with some gentle exercises but wants him to have the back injections first, which makes sense.
Today I need to get the house tidy, get cat litter and pack as I'm off to Camp Sparkle tomorrow! The last Camp got cancelled due to the first lockdown so it's been far too long since I've seen people. I'm only going for the weekend so doubt I'll be a miss. I'll be back annoying people with catch-up comments in no time.

Date: 2023-07-16 05:05 pm (UTC)But sadly James' appointment isn't until the end of next month, and that's with it being pushed forward. I suspect the junior doctors and nurses striking again hasn't helped with that date.
