Out of all the cats I've had in the past, none have ever climbed the Christmas tree.

Until Kevin.

He's also the most untidy eater ever, ran up my back the other day, dropped over my shoulder and grabbed a piece of raw chicken out of the frying pain, and has deleted and added to so much text in emails etc by tap dancing on the keyboard.

But, who could resist a face like



Also, this happened earlier. Excuse the over the shoulder selfie shot as I didn't want to disturb them, but side by side lying happened for all of a minute.





Kayleigh has been off work for a month. She's going back just after Christmas and happened to get her shifts as I was at hers yesterday. So I'm Bodhi sitting on the 27th for six hours. At least we'll have lots of new toys to play with.

I've been ordering the last of my Christmas presents today but hit a snag when I was reminded that you can't buy Amazon gift cards with gift cards. That was a big part of Corey's Christmas present, and a smaller restaurant gift card for Pauline. Thankfully, I should have enough in my PayPal to withdraw to the bank and pay by cash instead. But I wish I'd remembered earlier as I would have cashed in more of my survey earnings to PayPal in the first place.

It is lovely to see them snuggle, though Murphy has started to push back a little now, showing his dominance. Not that it stops Kevin from being a pesky little brother to him.

I suspect I'll have lots of stories to tell about Kevin. For example, he decided to help himself to left over chocolate ice cream last night and now has brown splotches around his face and mouth. Also, dried cat food stains on the top of his head from pushing his head into the bowl as I was serving his food.

Saying that, Murphy nearly had the blinds down earlier jumping for the leaves outside, so he still has his moments too.

I'm glad they're getting more friendly. Not friends yet, but tolerating each other with a bit of grooming and very brief snuggling going on, which I think is good progress.

I was so annoyed at Amazon spoiling my plans like that.

Ha, Kevin! He sounds like a real hoot! Also, they look so cute when they curl up like that. Yay for cuddling for a moment.

I tried to by GCs on Amazon with a GC before, too. And these weren't even Amazon GCs and I couldn't use it. I was annoyed, lol, because I only found out after I'd typed in the number. And then it was applied automatically to my next order, which I'm not sure I would have done. * head desk*

Oh man, I would have been even more annoyed with that. I'm sure there has to be some reason why you can't buy gift cards with gift cards, but it is annoying.

They are, though still have their moments of having toilet brush tails and a bit of a hiss. Mostly though, they're getting on really well.
