Mail arrived today from [personal profile] pensnest. The parcel is now tucked away under the tree, ready for Christmas day. Thank you, Pen!

FOB's Folie à Deux is 15 today, which is insane, what is time?! To note that they#ve released a lyric video to Pavlove which I've been enjoying listening to.

Kayleigh and Bodhi have been for a visit this morning. I was going to meet them for a coffee, but parcels were due, including a work bench I bought for James, and I really didn't want something I suspected would be heavy, to end up with my neighbours. Though, one parcel was delivered at 7:15. Which was very efficient but also very early.

Bodhi was enjoying herself on my PC again, but mostly by hitting random keys on the keyboard, thankfully, after I'd shut down anything important. She's really fast on a tablet and can easily use her mam's phone to watch stuff, but has never used a keyboard and mouse before. So, she made me smile when the actual computer mouse remained Easter Bunny's twin plaything while she tried to change screens using one of the cats toy mice when I said to click the mouse.

Because we've been with Sky so long, they offered a cheap upgrade to Sky Movies, which comes along with Paramount +. I've been watching SkyMed on there -- as recced by [personal profile] inacitylining and something I'm enjoying a lot, and I know the Trek series are on there. But does anyone else have any recs? I probably won't get to them for a while as my viewing is about 80% Christmas themed related atm, but it'll be nice to have things lined up to watch in the new year.

It's the Re.F.Use Christmas fair tomorrow, we've had a table for the last two years but sadly, this year, it's running from 4 — 7pm and James will be out for his works' meal in the evening. So no delicious and very cheap, pizza this time and, the most important really, no potential sales. It does seem late for a fair, I assume it's so they can concentrate on the café during the day, but I suspect they won't have many customers towards the end.

Paramount+ has Fellow Travelers, which I am excited to watch, but haven't yet. It's more dramaish, but has Matt Bomer as a closeted gay man in ye olde times of 1950s-1980s (AIDS era). It looks fascinating.

Now, if I could get my paramount+ to not do voice-over narration. Grr Arg.

I'm chuckling at Bodhi using the toy mouse to change screens. *g*

I agree, that does seem late for a fair. Too bad James has to miss out on sales; hopefully his work meal is really good to make up for it. o_O

That's indeed VERY early for a delivery!

I laughed out loud when I read the bit about Bodhi and the mouse clicking! (Btw, would Bodhi like a knitted doll do you think? I never got to knit any dolls (with clothes!) since I only had nephews and I would LOVE to knit one for you to give her.)

I agree, that does indeed sound very late in the day for a fair. It's sad you will miss it but holiday meals out only happens once a year and is not something you want to miss. I'm sure James will enjoy himself enormously.

Yay! I completely fell in love with this red-haired doll (and her clothes: these and these and these) a while ago and have been longing for an opportunity to knit them all. (It will also give me a chance to knit up more sock yarn leftovers :-)
