[personal profile] turlough let me know it was my DWversary very recently, so happy 15 year DWversary to me. The time has flown by, and while I won't get rid of my LJ as I still have good friends who only post there, this place really is my home now.

I enjoyed Graz's show so much Wednesday night. It was based around his life story and every moment was just great.

The story included him falling in love with his wife, who is another professional dancer, so she was a big part of the show too and the chemistry between them was scorching. She was stunning, and as for Graz himself, what a beautiful man. I lurk on a few Strictly forums and many people have said that in person he's captivating to watch, and I have to agree with that. Not just because of his looks, which admittedly, help a lot, but the fact he always seems so happy, and that's really lovely to see.

He also has the performer thing of seemingly making eye contact with the audience, no matter how far away you are, and just, gah. I am not immune to those looks. Something that amused me today, I tend to compare Fitbit readings with James' and today we were looking at the heart rates for Wednesday night, and mine kept spiking throughout the show, with one high-high the point where Graz threw a kiss toward our part of the audience with some intense eye contact. The man knows what he's doing.

Amazingly, we got there early and got parking no problem, in fact, the best parking possible, right outside the venue. So, had time for a quick drink, and made sure to enjoy every drop after being charged £5 for two cans of diet coke. The Fire Station itself was an amazing venue, especially access wise. It's based in an old Fire Station -- I know, shocker -- and they've kept the theme inside with the decor. It's only a small place, but had lifts to the balcony, easy open doors, and the seats were very roomy with plenty of legroom. Our seats were on the front row of the balcony on the side, and I found it very comfortable to lean forward and rest against the railing, seeing every part of the stage in the process.

I really do love watching dancing, and this was great dancing. Plus, a bonus of Graz trying a North East 'Why Aye Man' during his talking bit. So. Much. Love!

Seriously, what a smokin' couple

Oh, in Graz's talking bit at the very end he announced he's back in Strictly next year. Which I suspect he wasn't supposed to have done as the official announcements haven't been released yet, but still, great news.

Today we're heading off to the coast to have lunch out with the in laws. We were going to take Bodhi too as Kayleigh was supposed to be going to a funeral and Lucy to work, but Bodhi isn't well so Kayleigh's going to try and get a doctor appointment for her. Nothing serious, just more germs from nursery no doubt, but still, it calls for a day at home with her mam and not hanging at the beach with us.

It sounds like it was an absolutely awesome performance! Performers like that guy really are mesmerising to watch. The Fitbit thing made me giggle - you're so easily excited :-)

I hope you'd a nice day at the coast! And also that Bodhi is better now!
