turpsMurphy is doing well, he likes the special food we had to buy for him, both the dry and the wet, so hopefully, that continues. He's still a bit jumpy, and hates having his meds, no doubt thinking he's about to be picked up and taken away again each time he has to have them, which is every eight hours right now.
I've just given him his last dose of antibiotic, so now he's down to two meds twice a day, three once a day, so he's getting there. He's hiding right now, but will come back out soon, because he's very forgiving. Here we are
While I'm sharing photos, this is Inka Stinka. Before we picked up Murphy on Sunday, we called into the Consett Cats fundraiser at Pets at Home, where Inka was doing photo ops, and doesn't he look thrilled to be doing so? Kay, the owner of the rescue doesn't really believe in dressing up cats, but as disgruntled as Inka looked, he's a gentle lad who wasn't actually fussed, and it got lots of people to stop and donate which is always good.
Kay also gave a tip in terms of the special food, showing us a different brand that has the same medical properties to break down the crystals, but has been liked more by the cats she's had in her care. So, we bought a small bag of that to try, and Murphy likes it a lot. As does Kevin.
It was exercise only class yesterday, and Rosie tried something new
This time instead of doing one station then moving on, doing five circuits in total that way, we did five sets on each station, then moved on. And man, it was so much harder, even with a twenty second break between each set. There was also one station of mat work, and one fiendish one that included carrying two 10 kg kettlebells, walking with them, doing four squats when you reached a series of yoga blocks, then on top of that, stepping onto, and down, from the damn three level step. After a bit of a break, I think evil!Rosie was back yesterday *g*
After walking home, I found Kayleigh and Bodhi waiting for me. Bodhi is on half-term break this week, so it was nice to see her, and we ended caught up in a very long hide the cat bells and then find them game. I feel my acting skills were impressive when I couldn't see such hiding places as a bell on the bottom step of the stairs or in front of the TV. Though, I was impressed when she hid one in the punnet of kiwi fruits, that one took a while to find.
