Nov. 7th, 2025 01:34 pmI got offline early yesterday as I didn't want to see the Celeb Traitors spoilers. The finale was mistakenly shown a day early in Canada, so it would have been all too easy to unwillingly see the outcome. As it was, I was glad I did go in unspoiled.
I literally shouted NOOOO! When Nick voted for Joe. I mean, he'd been so right about Alan and Cat being traitors for so long, why change his mind then? While I'm surprised Alan won, I'm not mad that he did, and he did seem genuinely upset about deceiving Nick and David at the end.
Really, I was rooting for Nick to win as he seems such a lovely man, for example, asking Claudia if it was okay to hug her before doing so when he was saved from the in-person murder. Then when he kept dropping the box lid on Joe's head on the train, I was laughing so much.
Between this and Taskmaster I may start to forgive what he did as Nate in Ted Lasso.
...
Or maybe not. The sign was precious!
Loved watching Uncloaked too, Ed is such a good host and I had no idea what his EasterEd actually was. Kudos to Nick for spotting him due to Ed's eyes.
I've really enjoyed watching the show, and while it was frustrating waiting a week between some episodes, doing so kept people talking, and I liked that.
Today I've been for a walk to one pharmacist to pick up Kayleigh's script, and then to another to get James'. While there's no bright sunshine, it's still mild so it was nice to walk through the falling leaves and get some fresh air.
I also talked to Pauline, who phoned asking if we wanted to meet up next Wednesday for a lunch out to celebrate James' birthday. Now, that's not until the 1st, so yet again she's arranging stuff really early. But hey, he's off that day and I guess there's no reason not to celebrate that early.
Tomorrow, for the first time in a few weekends, we don't have any craft fairs so we're off to the cinema. I don't even know what to see yet, but something. I may even buy myself my first Christmas Costa of the season. I quite fancy a gingerbread latte with a tiny gingerbread man balanced on top.

Date: 2025-11-07 02:17 pm (UTC)Hee, at Pauline being determined to get things done before December! I wonder what she's busy doing that she needs to schedule these dinners so early? But yes, dinner out is dinner out and celebrating James should happen on any random day. *g*

Date: 2025-11-07 05:37 pm (UTC)I had the same reaction when Nick did that! Like why suddenly change about Joe like that? But yeah it was sweet how emotional Alan got at the end.
Same I had been rooting for Nick too he’s so sweet
I’d honestly forgot to keep an eye out for Ed until he bought it up again. Good one ick for recognising his eyes!
Oh I hope you have a nice time whatever you decide to see.

Date: 2025-11-09 06:26 pm (UTC)I envy you the walk-friendly weather. It was quite mild here for a while last week but over the weekend it's become quite chilly and very grey and not nice AT ALL to be out in *sulks*
Almost sounds like Pauline is expecting to be too busy in December to have time for socialising.
I hope you had a nice time at the cinema! It's far too early for gingerbread men though!

Date: 2025-11-11 02:07 pm (UTC)Yeah, I think we've got your grey and horrible weather now. It's been so wet and dismal today.
I honestly don't know what Pauline has planned for December, I know she gets sociable but not usually to the extent she's wanting to book stuff in November, too.
I did have a good time at the cinema, thank you :)
