I've just slept the clock round and then some. I went to bed at about 11 and woke up 13 hours later. I probably would have slept later but boxes were being brought down from my mam's house to be stored in our spare room. Actually it was a good job that they were as a mail mystery has been solved!

I've found my Christmas presents from Mouse and Starwatcher! I was stacking the boxes with the ones that had been sent down last week and saw two that didn't look the same. Had a closer look and they had air mail things on. They've been in my house all this time and I didn't know! Like I said my spare room is packed with boxes of mams things so I don't go in there at the moment. I suspect that Brian ( who brought the boxes up) must have brought them up with the others last week. I'll have to ask him when I next see him.

Thank you both ladies! I love both of them so much. Mouse, I can have my own book of slashers now and the wooden box of cones is beautiful and smells gorgeous, thank you! And Starwatcher, Corey adores his present, he's just ran off to show it to his friends *g* And I love mine too! You're all awesome feeding my pixi stix addiction.

*hugs you both*

I have my cards up now, showing everyone my belated Christmas *g*

Mystery solved, then. I'm *so* relieved! I was really starting to think you wouldn't ever receive them!

You're welcome, of course *g*

Also... know what? I think I found something for your b-day! lol Not kidding, I was cruising on-line the other day, and found something that just screamed 'Terri' *g*

StarWatcher is relieved

Oh, good! I've been meaning to write and ask if you got it, but I'm in the middle of a beta for Arrianna -- she keeps me hopping -- and I keep putting it off.

I also meant to write (ain't procrastination a wonderful thing? *g*) and tell Corey that, although the claws look scary, it's the stinger on the end of the tail that hurts you. When walking, the scorpion carries the tail curled over its back. If needed, it whips that tail sideways almost faster than you can see. You don't even feel a "sting", like with a bee, just all of a sudden the spot is burning like fire.

There are different "breeds" of scorpions. Some are only a little poisonous -- a human being (me) feels the pain for about a day. Some are very dangerous, and the stung person has to get to hospital very soon.

They also come in different sizes. I've seen them as small as the length of a fingernail, and up to twice the size of the one Corey has. (Ugh!) When the babies hatch out, the mother carries the tiny little things around on her back until they are old enough to be alone, but I don't know how long that is.

So, you're both very welcome. However, considering the price of overseas postage, you'll have to go "cold turkey" on your pixi stix addiction when those run out. Unless you can persuade a local market to "import" them...

Happy New Year! And now that you're writing again, that TS AU needs some work...
