Busy day today, not helped by the fact I was extremely lazy and slept in until midday. As usual we went out for Sunday dinner and had the craziest conversation with the waitress which ended with her telling me that they class turkey as lamb when the orders were mixed up. After we visited the in-laws which was a little uncomfortable as the BIL has just been told to leave. The idiot got caught going to a prostitute so he's been packed off to his mom's. Came home and set Corey's tv up in his room at last with the warning if he wants to watch tv in bed it means he has to go to bed earlier, not that he can stay up late watching it.

I've just finished watching the first two eps of the new ER and all I can say is Luca! John! I love them so much!

Also, today I'm full of the MX love, because Brennan loves Jesse! Do you hear that? He loves him and said so on-screen and I'm just all a quiver! If you're in TS or popslash you get a load of boy touching and love but us MX fans have had a dry spell for ages, then Bren calls Jesse baby and tells him he loves him. Man! Do they want me to explode? Do they? And don't anyone be spouting any nonsense about seeing things in a gen context because all I can say to that is....BRENNAN LOVES JESSE, and it's in that way, so there! I'm totally in the need to see, need to see, need to see frame of mind just now. I want to do the dance of mutant love.

Also, I've found more MX fans, they're crawling out of the woodwork, even MX sparkly fans, we're going to take over the world! It's just, I've known a core of MX fans for ages now, people that are on the slash lists then someone new makes themselves known and it's so good.

Did I tell you Brennan loves Jesse? Did I? Because he does! And I've known it all along but it's nice to have it validated on screen. They'll show that they do in fact share a bedroom next *nods*

Chris checks the doors are locked then sets the alarm. He climbs the stairs; so slowly, feeling old and worn then brushes his teeth, deliberately not looking in the mirror. In the bedroom he strips then climbs into bed, shivering at the feel of cold sheets. He checks the phones, listening to the buzz of the landline, making sure his cell is fully charged. Reassured, Chris slides under the covers, pulling a pillow to his chest, hoping Justin will phone soon with the answer to his ultimatum. It’s killing Chris to wait; he just hopes Justin chooses him not Cam.

ETA3: Sorry about this, my dance of Mutant love must have shook some brain cells loose. I just want to say that I'm slowly answering the comments you all gave yesterday. It's taking a while because for a lot I have to sit and think for a while before answering. You amaze me, all of you for turning what was a bad afternoon to good. Some posts made me cry, some smile but every one made a difference. I can honestly say that I love my flist and I hope I'll be there for any of you if needed.

I've just finished watching the first two eps of the new ER and all I can say is Luca! John! I love them so much!
Hell yes. With extra slashy goodness on top.
I only watched the second ep and I haven't watched much ER for ages, I knew they'd gone to the Congo and all that and then I spent an hour like 'oh. my. god. is he dead??!!1?!' lol and then I was like 'THANK YOU JESUS!' lol And oh, Luca loves him, you can tell lol

As for Brennan loving Jesse, you ever doubted it? lol I will admit to being a semi-closeted sparkly MX fan, I watched the first season at my friend's when SkyOne were airing it after StarGate, mostly on my own lol after my friend went to bed and her husband and my best friend played computer in the other room. Then the season ended and it was on a different night and I just never got round to watching it again (kinda the trouble with Andromeda, except for the part where Andromeda started to really suck lol There's only so much Gordon Michael Wolvett can do to keep me interested lol) but to say I never slashed Brennan and Jesse would be like saying I never slash Jack and Daniel during StarGate lol

And now I've waffled for a sufficiently long enough time, I leave you, to um, be elsewhere lol
Point was, I think I need to start watching MX again *g*

I haven't watched ER for ages too, but then I kept hearing about the slashy goodness in these eps and you know I had to watch. I swear I really didn't know if he was dead or not which is unusual as in most shows you know they won't kill of the stars, but in ER that's not true. But poor John, battling to get his lovers body, when he saw him and he was alive I could have shouted out loud, as it is I just sorta had an internal cheer *g*

Heh, I've never doubted that Brennan loved Jesse, it's just nice to see it onscreen. That is when I do see it, I'm having second hand elation as I won't get my copy for a while. MX isn't shown here anymore so a friend tapes it and sends it to me from the States.

Had to lol at your Andromeda comment because can I say me too! I loved Andromeda when it started and had a huge thing about Harper, then it turned into the Captain Hunt show and his love interest of the week and I'm really not interested in that.

But yay for semi-sparkly MX fans!

lol yes, that's exactly it for ER! My heart broke for him as he went around looking for Luca, and then it was all, OH MY GOD! Maybe they did really kill him off- no! YAY! He's alive! lol I didn't cheer but I did sigh with relief lol A show that can have Ewan McGregor for a guest star and then kill him off can do anything with one of it's regulars ;o)

See now, that would be a good reason for why I don't see MX anymore, they don't air it here lol That's just mean, yo. Though I suppose it was a ratings issue, but :oP to them lol

I lovelove Gordon Michael Wolvett, ever since I saw him in Deepwater Black (that show rocked, yo, in the way that only cheaply made Canadian scifi can lol) and then I watched the first season and a half of Andromeda, then they had their inner proudction turmoil and half the staff left and yeah, suckage ensued lol Kevin Sorbo is pretty enough but I don't want to watch a show all about him, I woulda watched Hercules ;o)

Man, I remember that Ewan McGregor episode. Just sitting thinking he's going to die, no they wouldn't kill him off, damn they have!

Yeah it was a ratings thing with MX. It started with a prime time spot, Mondays before Andromeda then moved to Wed then to Sat afternoons and now I sound sad remembering all that.

Gordon Michael Wolvett is awesome, I even watch Gatorface just for him *g* And Chuckie and I hate horror films, though of course the first time I saw that I was just in time to see him be killed. He's wasted in Andromeda now. For an ensemble show there sure seems to be a lot of Dylan, and I miss Tyr with his chain mail and meaty thighs...sigh.

ER will do anything to anyone, just look at Romano! Him and Dr Weaver arguing with each other in the first new ep made me laugh, they just about have a full set of working limbs between them ;o)

lol You're not sad hon, it's just a testament to how much Sky screw shows over that it moved around that much (take the new SG1 season for example, started off on Mondays, now it's on Tuesdays, eh)
The first run of MX I remember watching it with my friends, the first couple of eps anyway, and we were all kinda thinking, 'eee, this show is a little, don't wanna say crap but...' I was the only one who thought it had a strong base and lots of potential however, which is how I ended up watching it alone most weeks lol

Ooh! I forgot abou Bride of Chucky! (and he's gay in that! Woot! *g*) I couldn't believe Tyr left, who was Harper gonna have of the UST snarky catfights with? But yeah, totally gave up on it, Michael ain't worth staying with the show for the little he's in it

I totally know that MX can be crap, I spend as much time running it down as I praise it. Well, maybe I do praise it a bit more ;) But no, the show's cliched, very weak plot wise and the acting can be dodgy, which is why I love it so much. It's total fluff TV but it's what I want. Plus, you know the major Victor crush I have helps. I'd watch the test pattern if it had him naked on it.

I think Romano's accident was one of the most shocking things I've seen, he was one of their top surgeons and they chopped his arm off! Man, talk about shock tv.

ER is insane, like when they killed off Lucy, I was completely convinced she'd live but no. And it totally messed Carter up, guy turned to drugs eventually (that was about the last time I watched it lol)

They're playing basketball at the beginning of the show and Bren calls Jesse baby, can you imagine, man! Then later Jesse is dying because of this gas stuff that's been pumped into Sanctuary and Brennan tells him that he loves him and he's just about to give him mouth to mouth when Shal and Lexa break in :(

Probably just as well as I would have died if they did that!

I think H must have said Babe once, or why would it have exploded so much in fanon? I don't think that's normal in RL either, but it does my little slashy heart good to see it in MX.

The ep sounds wonderful! It's funny, I didn't know there were all these MX fans on my flist then the night it aired all these posts came up saying how it was the slashiest ep ever.
