Just had such an embarrassing moment. My brother and his friend came and asked if they could use the internet for a while. No problem there, the problem is they were in the house and standing behind me when they asked.
So they stood and watched as I shut down the pages that I had up. My e-mail weren't that bad, neither was the Word documents that I was coding but oh god the Google page. I'd searched for 'Brennan Mulwray cock' because it's a sure fire way of finding slash. But of course it meant all down the page there were highlighted 'cocks' And that looks funny, and I'm laughing now, but at the time I could have sank through the floor.
But at least the water's back on lol.

Date: 2003-04-17 10:08 pm (UTC)Reminds me of the time the judge looked down from the bench when I was looking for a fanfic web site. We *were* on break, after all. The site looked like a scene from dungeons and dragons. Boy, he teased me about that for days!

Date: 2003-04-18 02:41 am (UTC)It's always funny when the mundane and the fandom worlds collide. Non fans just don't *get* it. My best friend thinks I'm insane and she doesn't even know about the slash side of things.
That judge should have read some fanfic instead of teasing ;)
