Feb. 15th, 2003 07:00 pmFinally coming up for air after the most frantic week. Feb is such a busy time for me. My son's 7th birthday, he had 2 parties, one for his friends and one for family on his actual birthday. Both of which I had to sort out of course, with James' help. Then it was my nanna's birthday, yes the neat devil herself, don't go and see her on her birthday on pain of death. As it was we got there to be greeted with 'You're the last to come' sheesh!
Then valentines day. Can't say that's a biggies for me but James loves it. He got me a huge bouquet of flowers, a beautiful arrangement that had to go in an empty fishtank they were so big, a teddybear and a new teddy ornament. He's such a sweetie, he just goes ahead and buys flowers anyway despite my rant about how the price jumps up on Valentines day. Makes me sound like an ungrateful bitch but it really pisses me off.
James also bought me a new video for my birthday as my old one won't play ntsc tapes, (I've had to watch my Mutant X tapes that Jenny sends on my sons tv and video) I owe a load of tapes to someone that I promised ages ago but we disconnected the old videos and he reckons it's too much work to connect the old ones up just to mess with the wiring again when the new one is set up. Okay, I see his point *but* the new video's here now, sitting next to the tv, however James' decided that I can't use it until Tues as it's a b/d present. Men, so sweet and lovely on one hand, annoying pillocks on the other!
