It's boiling hot. I'm in middle of a BBQ but while the coals are heating I just want to wish Babycakes a happy birthday!

(no subject)

Like I said in my last post we've been BBQing today. The plan was to hit the beach, but when we got there every carpark was packed. So decided on a BBQ with the family.

Corey's huge paddling pool was unpacked and filled. After I had to scrub the algae out of it of course. The only way that I could do that was getting inside with the hose and a cloth...nice. As usual was made too much food, so now the fridge is packed with chicken kebabs.

It was lovely sitting outside, just chilling out. Of course the house looks like a bomb dropped again, but I'm not doing it yet. I'm still serene and sun warm just now, and doing dishes just doesn't fit in that mindset *g*

What does fit in that mindset is a new C/P from Mort that I've just seen that she posted. Tommy angst, what a great way to spend a hot evening.
