Sep. 5th, 2003 09:08 amDon't know if I like this new journal thing. Its just took me ages to find everything, but I guess I'll get used to it.
My e-mail is officially screwed. Its been chugging along for months now, rejecting some mail, not sending others. Yesterday I had literally dozens of mails bounced back to my in-box saying my addy had been blocked by the recipient. That could have happened, thought I really hope not. I received about three bits of list mail and that's just not right. I don't know what to do. I need a large mail box and I like how OE is set up. I've a pop mail account with populli that I could use. But I like the addy that I have. I might have to go for the full reinstall process for OE again.
Had to slap my own wrist when I had an attack of PPS ( premature posting syndrome ) last night. Posting my story without a second beta check. I've had my wrists slapped for that before, its just when I have the story in front of me I want it out there. So yes, much slapping of wrists for being so impatient.
My foot still hurts where I stabbed it with a pencil which is worrying. Not as bad as it did but when I first wake up or put any weight on it it throbs like crazy.
I've broken out in spots. I've two huge zits on my chin, I'm too old for that crap...sigh.
The old get across the street has been complaining about Tex again, we already keep him in the side of the house away from the neighbours. The grumpy get suggested a muzzle, but I don't really like that idea.
I miss my friends. I haven't been able to mail people for real in weeks.
I've just downloaded Chris' songs that he sang on the Chip Skylark cartoon. They're fun and it's nice to hear his voice. I've only really heard it on O Holy Night, which I have to say is one of my favourite songs now. His voice is really beautiful, it's a shame that Justin and JC get the majority of the leads. I'd love to hear Joey's voice better, I heard a tiny bit of Lance's, on the MTV concert I think.
I'm having much love for my mix CD just now. I've fallen for the really cheesy songs like Up Against the Wall and Digital Getdown. UATW just makes me lol when I hear it as I can't help thinking of Lance's face when he's dancing in that ridiculous coat and oogling that cardboard woman's ass with Joey. Then the guys getting stuck to those speaker things. Much love here for that.
I'm going to put Popodyssey on now. Kayleigh saw it last night and had a great time taking the piss. Then had the nerve to say quietly as she left ' I might have to borrow that one time, just don't tell anyone' Yeah right *g*
