What the hell is up with LJ?

And now the icon shock is over, lets me get back to what I was posting about *g*

I think I'm going to class today as the day of the cat. Which means earlier on James and I decided we were going to buy a kitten, which yeah, I know there's a lot of that going on on the flist right now *g*. So, after I'd left the doctors we set off to find a kitten, and were still looking hours later. There's no kittens to be had at all around where we live just now. Okay I lie, we found one but it was going to cost £250 and just no. We tried rescue centres first, then private ads and even in desperation pet shops but struck out every time. There's plenty of cats at the centres which I would have considered if it wasn't for Tex. We asked advice and were told a kitten is best when you're introducing a cat to a dog. So yeah, day of the cat for us today.

Actually it was a day of me being shamed about snapping at my nanna as I just don't do that. Just, she came in literally seconds after we'd come in with a load of shopping. The bags with my chemist stuff were on the couch and I was taking to my mam on the phone and nanna made a crack about needing the couch to be cleared so she could sit down and was I on the computer again and I couldn't help snapping back that I was on the phone. I just get so sick of people being on my back about being on the computer. They'd have no problem if I was sitting reading on the couch or watching tv so what's so different to me being online? Nothing. And that's my grump for the day ;)

I've seen the secret fandom shame meme but I don't think I have any secret fandom shames to tell you about. Then again, I could tell you how I really read Joshtin stories that end up as trickykitten and love Josh's characterisation as a sleepy kitten, James' as a religious bigot, Chris as a crack head, Joey as totally straight, never even thinking of dick and little Jussy who wuvs his Joshy Wossy. The shame, it burns! ;)

I owe comments replies, that I do have shame about. I also have to say thanks to forceofisis who's entertaining me with the most wonderful story over comments and joshysleo for all the e cards she's sending. Thank you *smooches you both*

Now I've downloaded the pilot of Numb3ers so need to watch that, but first, mails I think.

But one last thing. You people laughing about the meercats I'll remember this, I promise you that ;)
