Jun. 8th, 2005 08:40 pmMy new bed is the comfiest bed ever, very springy and cosy too. I may have to forgive it for the trauma of yesterday soon.
I've been trying to catch up on LJ for the last few hours and I'm all confused as I'm reading posts that appear and disappear at will. Meaning I keep being surprised when I see a post I've read before and even commented on. I think I'm going crazy, which yes, isn't exactly news but still... Anyway, it's been lovely to see all the new permanent account people and as a result of that all the gorgeous new icons that have appeared.
Today James and I did the last few jobs upstairs, visited the doctors then had a nice walk. The drs visit was a bit annoying as the hospital hadn't informed her that I've been visiting the dietician there for the last two months, so my dr was about to chastise me for giving up again. Which you know isn't something that encourages me to go back. Though I will, just to show her I haven't given up at all.
After that James and I went for a walk to the local nature reserve with Tex. It was a spur of the moment thing, it was a gorgeous day, Corey was at maths club, so we went. I just wish I'd better shoes on. Flip flops aren't walking shoes really. It's a gorgeous place, a series of really big interconnecting ponds ringed by paths. There were Canadian geese, swans and even a heron. As well as thousands of ducks. Tex went swimming in the lake so he smells rank now, then got into a staring contest with a swan which the swan easily won *g* My legs were aching when I got back to the car and my stupid sun rash has started to bloom, but really it was worth it.Oh and there was the most gorgeous foal there. It was tiny with spindly legs and huge ears and these big eyes and just the most gorgeous thing ever. I was so smitten with it, I could have watched him all day.
Sadly though I couldn't, as I had things to do, but now they're done and I've stories to catch up on and a OMG NOOOOOOO!!!!!!! to say about the Sucker I just read. Also, tickets for the BSB concert at London are available and I have no money. It's to cry I tell you! However, I'm sure they'll tour more so I'm not that disappointed.Wahhhhhhhhhh I wanted to go!!! *stomps foot*
I need to get it on record that my sister is disgusting. She's down here most days using my computer and her latest thing is to pick the scabs off her new tattoo and throw them at me, and it's just disgusting! Man, little sisters are the worst. Though I do get to call her Joey now as it's a superman logo tattoo, so that amuses me a lot. As does the fact that the girl who mocks me mercilessly for liking boybands came down to download Incomplete.
So now, JC month. I think the sun has bleached away any brain cells I ever had, so one pic ( behind the cut )
Now I need to go do things which may include a cool shower, reading December and Absinthe, catching up more flist and shaving James' back. Don't ask man. Really, don't ask.
