JC month day 7

I've decided that this the last bed we ever buy. Even if this one falls to bits we'll just fix it up because man, I seem to have been working non stop for the last few days. Yesterday was spent shampooing all the upstairs carpets. We hired a machine to clean them but it was a bitch to use. By the time we'd finished late last night I was no good for anything except falling into bed, or falling onto the mattress on the floor which is what we had to sleep on. The bed came this morning and believe me carrying a king sized bed upstairs is no fun. The base wasn't so bad, but the matress. Yikes. We got it half way up and got totally stuck. James had it balanced on his head and I was pulling but it just wouldn't shift, and of course I had to pick that time to have a giggle fit which meant I nearly let go which would have been a disaster. We got it up in the end though, put it together, changed the room around, changed all the bedding, chucked away more bags of junk and now we have a smart bedroom, a spare room which is actually a bedroom and not a junk room, clean carpets and the satisfaction of a job well done. I also have a nasty rash on my hands because of some kind of allergic reaction and am aching in muscles I didn't know existed. But who cares, because we're done!

Just after coming back from the doctors the in laws phoned asking if we wanted to go for a picnic at the beach, which is where we've been. Sadly the beautiful day turned cold so I ate my picnic in the back of the car, then went to play in the sand. Making sandcastles is always cool, even if it is windy and cold.

I do have a post ready for JC month, have had it ready for a while now just never had a chance to post the thing, so yes downloads as my brain is mush and I can't think of looking for pictures. I never know what to offer for these as I always think everyone has everything but then am surprised when that's not true at all. So here's a selection. All yousendit links.
