Today has been a long ass day. ( I had a doctors appointment early on )
After that we went to meet the in laws at Sunderland. We found them in the Winter Gardens and spent time walking with my niece to see the plants and fish before heading off to look around the shops. Which means my feet are aching like crazy just now after tramping around for ages. While walking plans were made to have a bbq at my house so they all came back here. Keira was in the paddling pool and next thing I knew James came out too and jumped in *g* Corey joined them when he came home from school and really they just had fun together. The BiL cooked and I did the prep work, cutting buns and making jacket potatoes because I'm good at things like that ;) It was a fun afternoon, though Keira got a shock when she realised James only has the one leg, she looked so worried when she was looking at his baby leg.
But yes, it was a good afternoon and now I need a good shower as I stink of smoke. Then a lie on the bed as I read the last few pages of Talliswood before Big Brother at 10. Yes my life is just that exciting, I know you're all jealous ;)
