turps: (It's a secret don't tell anyone.)
Because I was thinking on a story I'm writing, I went out without my mp3 player today and had to face the world without the barrier of music. Then when I was in the card shop, at the till no less, I realised James hasn't put the £20 back in my purse that he'd taken out this morning. Thankfully I could scrape together enough change to pay for the card. I had to leave my shiny 10 balloons though because of course they didn't take card payments. One quick trip to the bank and I had money again, but sadly by that time I also had a Corey so no shiny balloons today. However, we did get some plain ones last night, along with banners, candles and a cake, so that's of the good. We also got the fixings for the tea party, and I'll make sandwich fillings later tonight. The house is pretty much done, Corey needs to tidy his room later but other than that we're good to go tomorrow. All hands on deck for a day of boys, noise and hopefully fun.

We called in Kay's on the way home and mam is pretty much blasted already. She came up to Kay's flat with us and made a fuss about wanting a drink, then ended up stalking out. I think tonight is going to be one of those nights where my phone is accidentally knocked off the hook and my mobile battery goes flat. However, there is good because while at the shops I found diet cherry coke! Yes, after years of wanting the coke goodness in diet cherry form it's finally here, and well worth the wait. Also, Corey broke up for half term today, and James is on 12-8 shift next week and that means many days of glorious un alarmed sleep.

James is going out straight from work tonight. Which means on one hand I have control over the tv, but on the other means I have to blow about a million balloons up on my own. But what it really means is I'm going to work more on this story, drink diet cherry coke, arrange my Chris post and really, just wallow in happy fannish things. While juggling sandwiches and balloons, but hey, fifty words, another balloon blown up. It can be done *g*
turps: (hot as hell)
Well, so much for the fannish night. My friend has just gone home and I still need to shower and finish making sandwich fillings. However, I had a load of fun so it's all good.

The most lovely [livejournal.com profile] llumi suggested today's theme, which I thank her for because man, there's still loads of days left. So behind the cut is pics and downloads around Chris in eyeliner )
